I'm horrible, want a GT-R
Unless, of course, a car is purchased by someone who actually enjoys the act of driving.
As for a GTR, so not interested it's not even funny. No desire to have one. There's nothing about the car that attracts me: too big, too heavy. Don't like the seating position and don't like the greenhouse. Couldn't care less about numbers, and without them what's there? A very fast GT. Not what I'm after. YMMV

Again, it came down to numbers. I don't know about you, but I don't drive a number. Folks do brag about numbers, though. Must be a fun hobby.
Edit: I'm thinking about adding a subwoofer to my main (home) system, so I've been looking around at what's available outside of the classic distribution channels. This lead me to the Home Theater community, who, as a whole, knows quite a bit about bass. Most of the discussions center on a number - eg. specific output at 20Hz - with no mention being made of what the thing actually sounds like. Can you guess its relevance to someone who only cares about the sound, keeping in mind the individual understands the numerical constrains on a level unimagined by most forum participants? The same idea applies here.

I was once ignorant like you about the gtr not being manual. That was until I drove it. It's your opinion and your entitled to it. My point was , unless you have experience driving one your opinion doesn't hold water at all. People do go after numbers for self gratification. What's your claim to fame? What accomplishments do you have that you are proud of?
Do you road race? Track your car? I don't and have no experience at all but I know for a fact my gtr would take your evo on a track in full street trim on 93oct.

< grin> Very impressive; I bet you wear bigger underwear, too. Can't you get away from the numbers game and discuss driving the car? Not some aggregate score that elevates an idea of ownership into a trump card on a forum, but the actual interaction between the pilot and the machine. Clearly, you have no idea what I'm talking about, which brings us right back to square-1. Yea, the numbers are bigger. That's so great.
Buying an automatic, engaging its launch control, while holding the wheel and pinning the pedal in a straight line, certainly isn't one of them.

not to mention your spending a ridiculous amount on a nissan...... not even a r34 or any hard to get jap import sport car but a newer vehicle, that doesn't even have a REAL manual transmission. i dont care what anybody says about the whole clutchless tranny/SMG/ tiptronic its not the same.
I agree !!

New 2013gtr stock 10.8 quarter mile. And I hope the turbo s pdk is faster! Ways 3-400lbs less and had more power and cost more than twice as much. But then porsche pays allot for advertising also!
actually the gtr is more exotic looking than a p car by far. People trade there gallardos in for gtr's and p cars. I had plenty of exotics and fast cars and the gtr hands down out performs all of them around the board. Check my YouTube channel and you will see my cars, from lambo's , Porsches , bentlys, amg's, bmw's, sls, Ferrari's. Don't be a bench racer going off Internet advertisements.

I've too have had alot of fast car and exotics, and all I can say is you can't beat the Sh*T out of a Ferrari like I do the GTR
I was riding around in a friends alpha 12 package and that thing is unbeatable I don't care what you bring to race you will LOSE!

The GTR is more exotic HAHAHA thats great, It might be faster then most of the true exotics, but its always an import and the quality of the true exotics Fit and finish makes the GTRs look like a KIA.

So what your saying if it doesn't have a real manual transmission it's not good? So maclaren, lambo,Bugatti, Ferrari, are doing it all wrong right? And formula 1 is not real racing! Neither is alms, lemans, and most all racing. Thank you for sharing that all scientific/technological automobile break throughs are wrong. And what was underground racing thinking when they put down over 1900awhp in an auto car and hold records in different continents for being the fastest street cars. And your right, it's not the same it's better.
what the **** are talking about ???? comparing a nissan GTR to a lambo, bugatti, ferrari etc???? those cars you listed cost more then then a few GTRS together and have build quality far superior GTR. yes they some do have paddle shifters, but they can do that...The GTR and the other cars you listed are two completely different classes, how do you compare european technology and quality to the same company that produces a car that looks like a box on wheels???????? cmon really ?????
as far as the formula 1 racing and lemans etc where does that come in ? your comparing your street driven, paddle shifting, GTR to a car to an all out race car?

what you need to do is take a seat facing the corner of whatever room your in, because your not impressing or wowing anyone.
Fact, gtr is compared to all the above cars, fact Nissan set the standard on fast shifting transmission. Fact all other manufactures are trying to beat nissans technology. Fact gtr has been on the podium for the last 4 years as being one of the fastest and best performing production cars. Fact you have no idea what you are talking about. Fact most people try to mod there cars to keep up with a gtr. Fact you came from a rsx to an evo, get out and experience more cars then come back to the table with something intelligent to speak of with experience. You were probably a honda guy that used to talk trash on evo's until you drove one.
