That's probably more like -4* up front on those Acuras.

My Evo 8 track setup is -3.2 up front. -1 is the bare MINIMUM people should be running on a Evo, even for the street.

I don't care what anybody says. If you stance, slam, herrafrush, camber, stretch and put deep dish rims on an EVO, I will not respect your position in the Evo community. You need to go buy a Honda or Nissan. All show no go. While you make people scratch their heads at meets, I'm explaining my tune and "kills" to other people. Just saying MY opinion.

I hate it when I'm driving to work or to get groceries and a line of rediculous looking lowered scions come bouncing up and cruise with me. I need a way to let everyone know that I'm not with these clowns.

A car is a car, I dont really care what other people do, we all have the same passion, whether its a proper tune, or going stupid cramber. We all love cars with a passion.

The ones that I try to seperate myself from are those who ALWAYS ask me, "Why do you always wash your car?", or, "Why do you always fix your car?".

Well yeah if I dont wash or fix my car it's going to run like a junk and you're going to complain that my ride is trash, f**k off!!

I love my evo IX so much, always take care of it. I clean it at least to times of week and I open and check there fluid everyday. From the outside it looks very nice but keeping my originals bbs rims and the the tires number that requires. The suspensions are stock and I am not planning change in it. I am this mine set that the originality is the key.

I think that if they can afford it, then they can do whatever they want to it. Some people would argue about why would you modify a brand new car at all? to each their own.

Rally car for the street that never gets rallied. Still somehow using it for 'how it was never intended' is rice?

To me, rice is one thing. Cheap ****, knockoff parts. Most of the 'stance' guys are running quality wheels with expensive suspension setups.

Let's focus on calling out people who are brining the car scene down with crap, theft and negativity and NOT call out good guys who love cars and are willing to good $$ on rare parts.

There is no valid reason for stance. It's a way stupid people can express their poor taste in cars...

I started a Honda guy, and still have my CRX. It seems like the Hondas now are into the "stance" look and i cant stand it. I was and always will be the anti-rice Honda owner.

This thread is doing exactly that, bro.

95% of the non-enthusiast traffic on the road is looking at you, with your car on the ground, your sideways wheels with no tire on them, your flat billed hat, and your ridiculous stickers, and considering you a moron.

They then look at the guy in the dialed track car, lowered but functional, usable camber for his track tires, stickers from sponsors and shops (possibly a full livery), with harnesses, seats, and a roll bar or cage, a wing and aero, and group them in with you. And that is what brings the scene down. The people who are here because they have passion are being judged on the standards of those who are here for "cool points" and "car *****es" because "stance makes her dance."

But hey, I get it, growing up is hard. Gotta dress like everyone else to fit in at the big boy high school that the scene has turned into.

Dialed track car……has Ebay test pipe.

Its close minded people like you that bring the scene down.

I would associate with anyone no matter what you drive, i may not be a fan of what you've done do it but if you're a cool enough dude, it won't matter. But I'm not a poser who thinks driving a track car is somehow more functional than a stance car.

I don't get what you're trying to say in either of your posts.

How is a track car or even a stock Evo not more "functional" at being able to drive on a normal road than this car?

Who cares if you have super expensive wheels if they are tucked, running more camber than is usable, and have no ground clearance?

If you're all about show, that's fine. But asking people that care about performance to respect it isn't realistic when it's going 180 degrees from the mission purpose of the car.
