Fast forward and here I am giving another update. I still have the car(S3). I did a stage I which made crazy power increase and I am now at stage II which adds a downpipe. Mod for mod (same mods) this car destroys any of the 4 Evos that I had at the track. Not that the car is faster but with just a 91oct tune and a DP it flys pass the traps speeds of any of my Evo 8s and 9s as wells as it destroyes the ETs.

Here are the gadgets that makes this car quick and fast:

1) Consstent tru launch control from factory (I get flat 1.7 on the 60's)
2) DSG is wicked fast transmission
3) AWD engages on demand so all 4 wheels launching at once and pulling on FWD as soon as the car stops spinning. AWD system disconnects after that and you reduce the drivetrain loses

Not that I particularly love the AWD system on this car(Haldex Gen 5) but for 90% of the driving situations it does the job but NEVER expect this car to drift because it will NEVER do that.

Can't wait til we have the RS3 stateside. Looks fun.

I used to have an allroad. Terrible car to maintain but fantastically comfortable.
