I recently upgrade my Bell helmet that I had for like 15 years to a Simpson Bandit.
Really like the helmet but be careful with the non-clear visors. They are VERY delicate. Way more so than they should be.

I was looking at the Bandit too, but SA2015 models are on back order, looked at the Bell Vador also, but on back order as well. I've always wanted the Stig helmet so I decided to treat myself... Besides, it's gonna last me 10 years, might as well spend some money on it
$5.5k will get me a built 2.5L engine starting with a new core (so brand new engine in every sense of the word) that makes about 220 whp dynojet and 200 table top flat torque starting at idle. I like that idea better for a track car, NA power delivery and no FI heat to deal with... Of course Imma try to save a couple bucks and start with a 600 dollar junk yard longblock
but thats for the winter, gonna track it as is this year. going to a track day next friday (15th) assuming it doesn't rain.
