If you can download tuning software, I would tune it yourself. It's not that hard, especially since you're keeping stock injectors. N/A stuff isn't too bad to tune. And it's way less finicky then a high strung turbo setup like an Evo..
), which is basically a Ford engine. And you can tune the stock ECU with Ecutek.Most NA/NB Miata's go with some variation of Megasquirt, and there's a tone of community support for that. Where as next to nothing for the Ecutek on the NC's. But even if their was, I still wouldn't risk tuning it myself. I don't know the little in's and out's of tuning and engine and don't really care to learn. All I really know is AFR's and ignition timing...
ok, got the baseline dyno done... now I'm doubting a 20ish whp gain seeing my baseline number, I was expecting to be about 10 hp less. anyway, here are uncorrected, SAE, and STD numbers. the one starting at lower rpm is a 3rd gear pull and the other is a 4th gear pull
