I decided if i ever get an S2000 (oh, yes. I will, eventually), I would need to pay the premium for the AP2.

its a 2007 with 110k on it, its the Grand Touring, so the heaviest model. and its got that ugly brown interior... shocks are completely shot, its lowered on mazdaspeed springs with stock shocks (non bilstein), pretty sure the bumpstops have disintegrated... dips in the road taken at any significant speed will bottom out the suspension. took an on ramp kinda quick, almost crapped my pants, the rear end is wallowing all over the place, haha

first order of business for me is seat, BBK, and coilovers. I'm getting Wilwoods 12.88" Superlite caliper bbk and most likely Flyin'Miata's Fox coilovers with track springs. for seat I wanna get the OMP ARS-R, but I'm still trying to figure out if it fits. I know the WRC-R fits, and according to OMP's dimension chart, the ARS-R is about 10mm smaller in most dimensions. but talking to a couple people that have the ARS (not in miata's) they say the side bolsters are thicker than most other seats, so the dimension at the widest point might be wider, which might cause issues of actually fitting between the door and center console in the miata.

haha, no turbo kit... originally I was planning on SC, but after reading a bunch of threads on the miata forums I'm not so sure anymore. right now I'm leaning towards a 2.5L swap with some cams...

How much did you pick it up for?

I'm curious as my Fiesta lease is up soon, and with my Evo 10 being down, I might be looking at another lease like a BRZ or some such to change it up, or a used car, maybe something like the last gen miata.

No, it's more typical sc issues, belt slipping, shredding, etc... And they struggle a bit handling the heat on track even with a low boost setup

thats true... but they're more expensive and make more heat...

maybe down the road in a year or 2, the 2.5 swap does have a boost friendly compression ratio, but no plans for turbo as of right now
