I can forgive the cage and harness while on his short jaunts for filming. I think he mentioned he wouldn't daily it (I forget...Hard to pay attention...battery).

I don't get care how you drive a car, improperly used safety equipment (especially harnesses and cages) are more dangerous than not have them. Those four points aren't anti-submarine style, so the can kill you in an accident. And any car with a cage (as opposed to just a roll bar or no cage), you should really be wearing a helmet at all times. Your noggin and steel tubes don't mix well. Unless you like closed head injuries...

 

As a rule, yeah. If he chose to forgo all that for 15mins of filming, that's on him. If I had someone hop in for a ride around the block, I doubt I'd suit up for it. Yeah, I can say "be safe at all times" but I'm being honest with myself LOL.
