I also like the TC, I'm 6'-1" and fit in the TC.

I like the xB aswell, but I'd get the TC over the xB. But that choice.

The Xb is the biggest waste of time, money, engineering, and anything else I forgot and whoever buys it is just a sucker. Give me 17,000k and I'll hook you up with a cheerios box and some wheels that can out run and look better than an Xb.

I give props to Toyota for the great marketing and research that has gone into the whole deployment of the Scion to the US. And especially this new series of TV commericals, pretty tight. But I couldn't picture myself in that casket w/ wheels; maybe the Tc.

The xB is wayyyy tooo coool for schoool baby.
I love it, but I wouldn't choose it over the Evo. Kind of like the beetle. Its a great hit, but I would never drive it.... unless it had a HPA GT6 Twin Turbo conversion... now your talking..

FWIW, I have a Vishnu Stage 1+ Evo RS and last month bought a 2005 xB so that I won't get hammered by the coming gas crisis. I was really pleased to find out that the car is a lot of fun to drive. Don't get me wrong, you aren't buying it for the performance, but I'll tell you this:

Kick *** stereo system
Power everything
Tons of headroom (I'm 6'1")
Tons of cargo room with the back seats folded down
Cheap!! I don't know where you guys are getting your prices from, but Scion has fixed pricing. I paid 14,313 and that was the same price at every one of four different dealers that I went to.
Fun to mod - I'm 42 and missed my childhood. Got me some 17" HotWheels rims, Kuhmo Ecsta low pro's, Progress Technology rear sway bar, cheap underbody remote L.E.D. lighting and am waiting on some springs. This car turns just about as many heads as my Evo does and it gets 36 miles to the gallon on the highway and about 30 city.

It's a car that you're either going to love or hate. To each his own, but I'm VERY happy with mine AND it helps keep the mileage low on the EVO to boot.

my .02 cents,

Tony

I was thinking about getting the 2006 xB but I was told by the salesman that I should wait for the 2008 xB coming out in 2-3 months. Compared to the 2006 the 2008 get a bigger engine 50+ hp, standard cruise control, side airbags and head curtains, traction control, stability control and so much more, larger and wider too but with so much changes it adds on the weight which is 3085 (with automatic transmission) compared to 2415 (2006 xB manual trans.) I know that heavier might be safer. Not sure but I will wait for the 2008 to come out and see if i like it if not i will get the 06 model.

The new Xb and the Xd (replacement for the Xa) look MUCH better... And aerodynamic, rather than like something you put in your food storage room downstairs to hold food. But, I do think they are cool, but for 15k I'd buy a used SRT4 instead, I'm too much of a speed junkie.
