Thumbs up Scion xB: Cool or not?

I rode in a friend's xB yesterday. It's a dark blue one with the automatic transmission. Power isn't the greatest, but it managed to shuttle five people (~830#) around the city with no problem. I think highway on-ramps and lack of passing power would make me nervous.
The xB looked smaller on the outside than I imagined, but the interior has loads of room. Headroom is especially abundant. I'm 6' tall and there was close to 6" above my head; at least, that's what it felt like. The interior style was attractive, and even though it's only a $15K car, it felt like good quality.
I read that the xB has taken up a higher proportion of Scion sales than they had planned, essentially reversing position with the xA.

i actually saw 3 of those things this weekend...they look way to low to the ground. it is just not for me. it is almost like the mincooper being a mini car it looks just like a minime of mini vans
kinda looks like a cool and hype (cough, cough) chick mobile

I actually like this car. I test drove it when it first came out. Slow as hell. But its comfortable. And the front windshield feels like your looking through a plasma tv.

Dude that car is cool.. it's huge inside, totally original (not like a bug or mini cooper which are just rehashes of old cars) and has a ton of standard features for the money like ABS, traction control, Pioneer MP3, power everything, and toyota quality. Great resale value and cheap to buy or lease. If I didn't work for a car company I'd get one as a daily driver to keep the miles off the evo.

Plus the car kind of screams out that you are your own person and don't care what people think. If you're asking what people think, then it might not be for you.

those things are PIMP!!! A sweet set of wheels and the TRD supercharger thats coming out and I'd be set!!!! I'm tall too so loving the headroom. Of course I owned and Element before too so I'm an admitted lover of the boxy mini SUV's

I like both the Scions. They have amazing room for their size and the Toyota build quality. What's not to like if the looks suit your style. Along the same lines, I'm really starting to want the Honda Element. Again, tons of room and so much functionality for cheap.

i LOVE this car. the ones that are really pimped out in japan are well..PIMP!! i sat in the backseat and it was incredibly comfortable and roomy..although the power is lacking, it would be a very functional ride.
