In your view, maybe, but many disagree. No one's forcing you to buy one, so go buy your Stupid Ugly Vehicle that costs many thousands more. It sounds like you have cargo-space envy!

My wife actually just bought one after her cougar caught on fire (biggest piece of crap ever) and we were lookin for somthin for a good price and a good warranty, we werent really lookin for nething too special until we just decided to stop by. We were very impressed, the base line model by far 10 times better than any base line model. I thought they were kinda ugly but i love it now. Anybody who is lookin for a reasonbly priced car w/ a lot of standard features i would recommend this car to them. By the way i am workin on it gotta system hooked up blacked out windows, and wheels and lowering springs are on the way. it also gets a ton of attention, although some times its people screaming that things ugly but most of the time people just wanna come see what the hell the box w/ wheels is all about

we were talking about space, so what counts is leg room and such.

IMO most people who like them like 'em because they're trendy and new. Nevermind the fact that they fell out of the ugly tree and hit every branch on the way down... twice.

...I thought boxy cars got left behind with the 80's. Guess not.

I'll put it this way... If it were a choice between driving that kleenex box or a 4 door 79 station wagon.... Id walk

That thing isn't worth the pavement space it takes up only good scion is the one in a junk yard.

I'll say this for the xB...it looks better than the xA or the Aztec

Beyond that, wtf was Toyota thinking? The tC is a very nice car for the money and they did a good job with it, but the xA is so ugly I can't stand looking at it for more than a second or two, and the xB looks like a joke.

I dont exactly like the look of the xB. But hey--to each their own. I do have to give props to the Scion marketing team. They've done a lot of work getting the word out about these cars. At the Denver auto show year before last (I think) Scion had the best booth by far. The people were down to earth, easy to talk to and hella cool. Not like the suits that wont even look at you unless you have an expensive suit on or a huge diamond ring on your finger.

Scion is cool in my book. I like the tC's "social seating" feature.

NO NO NO.........You got it all wrong..........SUV stands for "****y Useless Vehicle"......

There is nothing worse than being behind a SUV.....I don't care if i'm in my EVO or my wife's Sentra or my fathers Mercury.....you can't see in front of them........ and that sucks.......it's like being behind a bus and when going through an intersection you don't know if the light is green or red.......not good.............Thats why I can't stand those things........I just wish they would stop making them bigger and bigger..........they just have to make up there mind if they want to be a van , car or truck.....if you buy a SUV you might as well buy a used UPS truck or somthing.......SAME THING!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Oh and to add to the story........I was in an accident with my EVO last summer...I was on the highway and a guy in front of me slamed on his brake and I swerved to miss him ,and I did but I went around him on his right side skiding and I ended up hiting an SUV "****y Useless Vehicle" that was in front of him in the right rear and I caused it to flip......... The size of the dent was no more than the size of my fist that caused it to flip........it was a Toyota 4runner too...I was only doing 65mph before I got into my skid...........Thank god nobody was seriusly injured..

Just thought I'd share that with you guy's on SUV's, Sorry about going off topic of the xA,xB, and tC......

I do like the tC
