My New Car (Couldnt Afford the Evo)

Went to the Mitsu Dealer Yesterday to get the "Last BBY In New England" sat down did some paperwork, they finally gave me some numbers and they wanted me to pay $433 for 7 years!!!!!! WTF. I thought about it and realized that me and my new family need to buy a house soon so I cant be stuck with this payment for 7 years, yet I still needed a relatively quick car to spice up my morning commute... So what did I get?? Poor man's Evo (So far I love it, Dont take it for a joke! go ahead, test drive one! burbles and pops like a V8)

Looks like the Evo will have to wait until after the house (which alot of people are selling their evos for) I have to get my priorities straight. I've wanted the Evo for as long as I can remember and I am a Die hard Evo fan all the way, I couldnt get the bby so I guess this is the closest thing! lol! Not quite ready to join that "other forum" yet, I was browsing the threads and many of them are very immature! almost to the point where I cant stand it! Anyway, thanks for all your support and help guys If I go to some of the meets please dont egg me! lol!

Hey man it still is a nice car with the hp and stock turbo for the money is a great deal. My friend drove my evo and now he wants one but he is going to go the same route you are going with the srt4. and i know what your are talking about the other forums, first of al most of them dis the evo like it is nothing and that it is just a waste of money, but i don't care, anyways goodluck with your new car and with getting an evo in the future. they will prob have a more powerful one in the future anyways stock.
thanks

i actually have some respect for that car, especially after i drove it. it's got nice power all the way through the rpms. and the fact that it's very tuneable is nice too. only two negative things: neon looks and FWD. but it's still a fun car to drive. have fun man!

$433/mo for 7 years sounds like a pretty fair deal to me.

Good alternative choice, though.

Good choice on the alternative and the color as well. If i was going to get that car it would only be in black or the electric blue.

It's hard to argue with the performance-value you get with the SRT.

I test drove one a couple of months ago and it felt every bit as fast as my EVO.

Dude! SRT4 is a badass car...my advise is get the kaminari kit and slap that mama on there! u'd be surprise how nice it'll look. Here's the link...love the look of a kitted SRT4

The SRT-4 is a great car, but it has some pretty sloppy handling. However, for the price you can't go wrong. I was close to getting one and having the dealership install a Mopar suspension kit on the car, but I decided to go with the Evo instead.
