I actually really like the looks of the EVO, STI, and the SRT-4. One thing I could never do is buy a car I thought was ugly because it performed well.....wouldn't happen. Cars cost too much $$$......if I'm gonna spend that kinda cash I want both......and I think these cars all look tight as hell........a white EVO, and silver STI, or a red SRT-4......I'll take one of each please

yeah but they're both FWD....I'm sick of that......my wife loves the Mazdaspeed and refuses to ever give it up so come August/September the SRT will be gone in favor of an EVO, STI, or 350z.........leaning hard towards the 350z now that I drove my buddy's new one with exhaust on it.......I got wood.

Nearing 15k not a single problem, installed borla stainless steel catback, now it idles like a v8, also got stage 1 turbo upgrade as well as a new wga.

My boost gauge was 2psi off and it was replaced under warranty with the mods above. also one of my spark plugs is turning because of turbo heat but will be replaced under warranty along with the wires. Not one rattle squeak or creak. Thing is no JOKE on the highway (90% of my driving) its kinda fun taking out the higher powered awd turbos (no need to name names) and to this day still throws me back in my seat through all the gears (even pulls in 5th after the wga).

Issues

I wish I had purchased the 30$ motor mounts before modding like crazy, the engine wants to basically jump out of the hood! Sometimes I do crave for the awd though. If I stab the gas in 1st or 2nd all I get is tire smoke. Gas can be a real pain too, last week I got 18mpg (my best is 28 and worst is 16) No regrets to this day, It is very fun being the underdog but still an evo lover at heart.

Below is a vid that nobody cares about. I basically live for the pops and burbles that this and the stock exhaust make.

Hope this helps. Feel free to ask any more questions

Best not to strain yourself financially... the SRT is all good, and even better after a trip through the MOPAR catelogue

SRT-4's are good cars for the money there isn't a faster car on the market for 20k

We had 11 SRT-4's show up to our River Run today and they did quite well weren't quite able to keep up with the Evo's but they weren't far off and they did awesome for a FWD car as far as looks go I don't like them at all but as WSB said Evo and Scubbies aren't exactly a SL class sports car look either.

I don't own an srt-4, but the dodge dealer let me take one out. I had the cool dealer guy. You know, the one guy that gets to go and test all the cars and beat the crap out of them before they get put on the lot. Well he had me go all over. After about 10 minutes he told me to really stand on it. So i did; way faster than my ralliart.(duh)
Overall, the car REALLY impressed me, and for $2000 more list price than my RA, i feel a trade-in coming on in a year or two.
The only thing that i didn't like....When we got back to the lot, i went to open the door, pulled the handle....and it ended up on my lap...he had to open the door from the outside for me... He said "oh..um....we can get that fixed"

I laughed, i know things like that happen..but those handles should be metal and not plastic. Great car though, Excellent choice for the $$

Haha actually it isnt a bov. This being my first turbo car (first car too) I needed to start somewhere so I bought the MOPAR blow off plate (60$). It basically just releases some extra gases into the atmosphere, by no means a blow off valve and constantly goes off under vac. I just wanted it for the sound and after I installed the stage1 upgrade it no longer goes off under vac and sounds like a semi's air brakes (very very loud).

After I get stage 3 http://www.mopar.com/street/products_srt4_stage3.htm (310-355 to the wheels) I'll be upgrading to a REAL bov as well.

Any questions? Ask away! And thanks for all the support guys!
