To each his own I suppose.

It is a beautiful car... but you are gonna miss the performance of the EVO.
you were right in the beginning, and then you went off course...

it's far from a major downgrade in performance... and if i met an Evo on the highway, i'd walk away from it without even breaking a sweat...

yes, 340hp V8, and with the exhaust / intake i'm probably approaching 400...

definitely nothing to sneeze at...

Evo is still faster around a track, and probably a 1/4 mile, but after that, the S4 just walks on the Evo...

Walks away from a stock Evo. Even an eVo putting down 330 or so HP at the crank is going to do ok against an S4...no matter what the conditions, uo to about 140+...believe me, it's been done.

no... it's brand new...

it's apparent in the pics, but in person it's almost unnoticeable...

any car company usually has a hard time getting the plastic bumper to match the bosy exactly...

i know, i had a silver Galant and that really showed in the pics as well...

so, now you're going to compare a modded Evo against a stock S4...?

are you sure you really want to start this...?

it's the lighting and camera flash that makes it look as such...

it's factory...

it's near unnoticeable in person...

^ LOL. Let's look at the overall performance of your slushbox.

EVO
-----
0-60: 4.6s
Slalom: 71.4mph
1/4 mile: 13.1sec

S4 with slushbox:
----------------------
0-60: 5.5sec (4.99 with manual and slush box is ~.5 second slower)
Slalom: 68mph
1/4 mile: ~14.4sec (13.4 sec with manual, the slushy is gonna add .5 to 1 sec).

So I repeat... MAJOR downgrade in performance.

Mod for mod.. the story gets worse for the S4, so we won't even go there. You have a very pretty luxury car.. that costs TONS and TONS to get any more performance out of it. <-- Audi's and BMWs are very similar in this regard.

Your car is great for what it is.. a beautiful luxurious sports car.

Audi's and BMWs cost a TON of cash to squeeze any performance out of them. This is not a good topic for a Audi owner to engage in.

VW's still have better interiors than Evo's, and Audi's are high-quality(except for reliability).

I'm not looking to "start" anything. At the end of the day, they are only cars, and individual choices, make no change in our character, real status, economic standing, or spiritual integrity...so no, I don't want to start anything. Peace to you, and enjoy your new S4.
