glad im not the only one who thinks its bull**** im dealing with the SAME EXACT PROBLEM... and now im being banned because UPS doesnt want to pay the "insurance" money that came out of MY POCKET for the turbo... for 3 months ive fought UPS and have the BBB involved, but that doesnt matter to any of the moderators on this site... and i get bashed because i dont reply to PM's??? hmm maybe its because IM NOT HOME!!! im TDY with the military and i get 4 pms from a moderator about how im being banned because i havent replied to any pms...
been on this site for years and never had a problem and have sold other items with no problem and have an excellent ebay score, so im legit, and im talked down on making it look like im a scammer making a quick buck... im not paying the buyer AGAIN out of my pocket for the replacement parts! im not a business, UPS can pay for it, thats why they have "INSURANCE"...
i have all my photos of the turbo, receipts, documents, phone call history, etc...
i also didnt box the turbo, UPS did, i brought it to a customer service center and had them package it... and they tried to pull the "insufficient packaging" bull**** on me because they dont want to pay the insurance money they owe!
the buyer also CONSTANTLY threatened/harassed me (which i believe is an offense last time i checked, whether it be internet,phone,etc) to the point where i had to get my cell phone provider to block his number, since i received 100txts a day/night, even at 3am! like wtf?
ive done ALL that i can and now am pursuing a law suit for this person, but that doesnt seem to matter... if i get banned because of this idc anymore, its just a forum... and id rather not be on it than have moderators talk **** to me through PMs and try to talk to me as "childish theif"

He paid you for a working part. He didn't get the working part. You took payment for that working part and didn't deliver it, and won't give his money back. ALL accountability for the item is on the seller once the buyer makes payment. Of course all of this is just my opinion, but having gone through 2 ebay transactions where UPS broke the items I shipped, I can tell you I refunded the money for both items immediately and took my issue up with UPS. I did it because that's the right thing to do.

I told you to post it as soon as possible as I need it really quickly, you said yes you can do it, I paid 27 Feb, you sent it 2 March.
Then it got stuck along the way, I have emailed and called Australia Post.
They said there's nothing they can do, and ask me to call USPS.
I have emailed and called USPS too.
They said the latest information is the item is in NJ dispatch on March 3rd. And no further information shown.
In order to investigate it, I need you (sender) to call them and provide your data and ask them to investigate where my item is.
I asked you to contact them and havent got any respond, so I put paypal claim to make you aware that I need your 3 minutes to just call USPS and give your information as the sender for them to proceed the investigation. WHO ARE YOU? Even a president would have 3 minutes free in a day.
I just need you to be cooperative here, I paid your clutch on time, I hope to get it on time. Then it is your responsibility to call them around and ask where is the item and when will I get it.

6 1/2 weeks later and USPS finally delivers!!! Too bad the flywheels missing. Well, claims going thru today once i get the info back from you as far as weight, pictures and such..
Minus this little incident, right? OH, well he sold something to someone else and it worked out, must be legit.
Also, You're not putting anything out of pocket. You're carrying through with delivering something which you sold. You assume liability and risk as a seller to get someone what they've paid for. A broken setup was received, you wouldn't take a return and here we are now. What is it, four and a half months later? Still trying to find some kind of resolution for someone that paid for something and has only received part of it.

and for the record, i paid out of pocket twice for the item i sold already, totaling up to $140
im not putting out another $500 out of my pocket, the damage on the cover looks like it was hit with a hammer, and there is no way the box was delivered in that condition... it looked like a piece of swiss cheese... not possible, i would have had the money from UPS already and they wouldnt be giving me such a hard time on the claim if they saw the package like that.

While I'm glad you've introduced your personal account of his character after having met him a time or two, it really doesn't matter. Everything we see in making decisions is how people conduct themselves here and how they handle issues. I didn't handle the situation, but what would be the point of witholding something like that? There really isn't one, so I'd have a hard time believing something like that would magically appear after the fact. While convenient, it's also suspect.
Karma will catch up to them, and they will get what they deserve.

What's that mean?
That I can tell quite a bit from this picture.
First, lets take a look at shipping:
Date payment sent: Feb 2, 2011
Date received in Grenada: Mar 21, 2011
Now, the date the picture was taken:

So this picture was taken the exact same day that the shipment was received in grenada. . . This proves something, but it's not that the turbo wasn't damaged prior to shipping.
