i dropped the claim after i was provided the tracking info. it's amazing how a paypal dispute will all of a sudden cause someone to drop from their "busy" schedule just so they can respond. i gave the guy a week before a reply...been doing business for way too long on this forum and other forums that one week is where I start assuming i'm being scammed. either way, i did was any buyer would do, and i dropped the claim the day after i received the package.

I think that about sums it up. OP, I hope you learned a lesson about the importance of communication as a seller. Once payment is made, the burden is on you to communicate any and all actions taken (or not taken) in a timely manner. Before you try to trash another user's reputation on this forum, make sure you are in the right.
