Go back and read the post!! He posted for a sale a good condition turbo!!

I'm not trying to be a on either side but copy and pasting PM's isnt exactly "evidence". As you can see above, it's easy to copy and paste something and make changes. For future reference, use screenshots as those you can't argue.

As a buyer it's also your responsibility to ask questions about the item. You don't go to a dealership and buy a car you have only seen a picture of without asking any questions do you?

Buyer is selling a part that he assumed worked. You are buying a part that you assumed work based on the sellers assumption. Shame on Mileb for selling a part that might not work and not properly marking the item. Shame on you for buying a part without asking any questions regarding the part. You keep on preaching about buying in "good faith"... You should have asked questions about the turbo instead of rushing to catch a good deal (that turned out bad)

You have both been offered a resolution from Nsomniac which is beyond compensating for the both of you and your trust issues. Just bite your tounge and take the offer. Going back and forth on the issue on the forum is not going to get you anywhere. Stop being headstrong and do the right thing. Just end it.

Maybe you should go back and read it again, too. The ad said that the turbo had some shaft-play. Maybe it understated the amount of shaft-play - I have no idea - but people who are trying to do a scam by selling a crap turbo usually don't warn potential buyers that the turbo is clearly not perfect.

In any event, I'm delighted that the title for this thread has been changed. Will try to resist further temptation.

I dont know the full story but I will say that I did trade some parts with Mileb. From the few emails we exchanged, he came across like a good guy. Hope this issue gets resolved.

Now he gets on here and you guys sympathize with him. The item he sold, he didn't even know if it worked and still doesn't! Why don't yall go back and re read all of the post from the start. How am I in the wrong when I'm still here making my point? Scammers run remember. I'm here until I get my money back and prove my point to all of you doubters.
The only point you have proven is that he agreed to take it back and refund you upon it arriving, just like most everyone else does. You refused and threw on the stipulation of sending the money first.

The fact that a moderator even offered up or agreed to be a neutral third party is EXTREMELY rare at all. I personally don't see much of a difference between a Moderator serving as a mediary or an Admin, as there is little difference.

As to how you could be wrong here when you are still here making your point, you and Al Gore have that same question in common.

Yes I did refuse at first! Why?? Did you read any of the post that took place? I think it was 26min from delivery from fedex to the time I sent a message. I'm sick of hearing I'm not a credited member. Believe it or not. I also drive a 2000 mirage with an evo 5 swap, FWD! Which I did all work on myself in 2004. I found out about the forum and signed up in 2007. Yes I didn't have many post. But my post were about problem I was having with the car at the time. I even bought an aem method kit off of a member on here. there isn't really much more I can do to show my old membership. I used the forum for info not so much to post and talk.
Mileb's turbo will be sent back tomorrow. I have pay pal looking at the dispute. So I'm just going to send it back. Simply put if the part you are selling is only good for a core or scrap metal then say so!! And anyone who would like I can send you an email to show u what it was like. If you don't want to see or hear what it sounded like to understand my point then don't comment anymore.

I think that BlueSky nailed it. The upshot of this thread is that you should never sell used car parts to Man-Bear-Pig. I'm thuper therial.

Unless you want to send me your email address so you can see it then get off the thread Iowa999. It's really not that hard but obviously you either can't read or don't pay attention.

use the admin/mod as the 3rd party for a mutual return of part & payment, or stay stuck with a bad turbo & no money along with bad emotions. Pretty cut n dry.

I take walk around videos of parts before I even post them up to avoid situations like this...

Ok fellas after getting everything straight with Microsoft I was able to get in to my original account. Finally! I'm working with Bob to get everything merged together for one account. Now back to this dispute with Mileb. The matter was resolved after he received the parts and Pay Pal had to take the money from him. No he didn't give it back they took it!

Maybe PayPal had to take the money back because Mileb has multiple accounts and he forgot which one he was using for this particular transaction. I know that sounds shocking, but I've seen people with multiple accounts on the same site.

Not true I called paypal and told them to release the funds after having no options online to proceed with the case. Paypal put a hold on the funds like any dispute but in order to speed up the refund process I needed to call them or it would have dragged out till this weekend.

Moderators please close this thread.
