Buyer Beware --- QuickFlips issues

So my shop paypal'd QuickFiip for a set of Evo X rims. Noticed him bumping the thread and reducing the price. So obviously we call him and email. He is unresponsive. Have left over 10 messages and texts and emails. None have been responded. So the rims were never sent even after I sent the UPS shipping labels and paid the shipping.. So buyer beware... I have just started the paypal process. Its been over a week with ZERO communication

Quickflip if there is something that isn't correct here please respond to us or any of the emails or text or phone calls. Threads I am talking about

I've locked his for sale threads and sent him a PM asking for an explanation with a link to this thread.

I've had this happen to me: After payment, the seller gotta better offer from another guy, then he held my cash for a week, waiting to get payment from the other member, of course not replying to me in the interim... I didnt get robbed, but i got my money held up hard.. There's many different levels of shady now, but I think for this kind of a larger transaction. You should expect pretty decent communication or this will go bad quickly. I don't even think you should be able to sell wheels without boxes handy and 5 good seller reviews... I'm always surprised how many guys list parts, that aren't even close to ready to ship.. Good luck, I had a conversation about selling a muffler to this guy last week myself.. No issues on my end. Just sayin he's around.
Yah I see him online and posting.

I cleaned up off topic, useless or speculative posts.

If you aren't the buyer or seller there is a really good chance you don't even need to post in this thread.

If needed I can try to get in touch with him. He's a local around me and I know a few friends of mine know him personally.

Might not be a bad idea to make him aware of this thread and to clear the air on this situation.

If I don't hear from him by tomorrow, he's losing access to the Marketplace since he's still posting there after I sent him a PM about this dispute.

He's aware of this thread. I sent it to him. He said he was dealing with PayPal already. No idea what that means.

He's a scammer.

Can't believe he's been getting away with this for so long. Sad to see what seems to be a good person have a very dark side to them.

BC Coilover raffle was no scam. Winner (jerseygts) got his new coilovers and I personally helped with the install on them, while my own purchased set was still installed on my gts.

I have already given my input to paypal in the dispute center, and buyer will be refunded his money for wheels and tires, as I got a local trade offer instead. Anyone that personally knows me, knows communicating with me via phone or email is hard, and I'm usually all over the place in NJ. Even Chaz can vouch for that, took an extra 3 weeks to actually meet up for a committed part sale.

Unreal that you would actually take money and not have the product you are advertising. After you took the money you were bumping your thread. This could have been really a simple conversation if you would have texted, emailed or even called to say the deal was off.

Why bother giving your number if you are not going to respond and you sure responded really quick before you got the money? As soon as the paypal went through you were MIA.

Love how people make excuses after the fact. You can't save face on this one. Appreciate you refunding the money but should not have had to go through all this nonsense to get it.

OP please update this thread once you've received your refund and the dispute is resolved so we can lock this thread.
