just wanted to let everyone know,

our new 6750 sq foot facility should be completed in 30-45 days. We are awaiting the permits for the final construction work, which is what is preventing the major work from taking place.

The shop will house:

2 brand new low profile Rotary Lifts (so we can service our Lotus customers)

Mustang AWD Dyno (in ground)

Tig equipment (light fab work)

Hunter Road Force Balancing machine and Hunter Mounting machine (up to 26" wheels)

Scales and Flatpad for corner weighting, and possibly a shock dyno

2 Race simulators in the game room, kitchen, and 3 car showroom

ill get pictures as we get some more work completed.

Sounds great. Glad to see that your business is doing well. Just picked up a new IX RS last night. My VIII, with GT30, was totaled last month. Are you developing any new parts?

I'm the guy whose grandmother lives across the street from your house. Former GTI, S4, and Evo VIII owner.

another update:

walls are up in the shop, ramp is going in this week, along with new awning, etc...

we should be having our open house in sept... with lots of cars to check out, including our 2.3 JAM evo 8, evo ix, lotus exige, 2006 bmw M5 and more

This sounds like a decent shop. Only about 17 miles away. Will have to check it out sometime in the fall.

Are you going to be doing any tuning on the evo's or just installation of parts?

 

They will be doing everything imaginable! CBRD is really going to set York, PA off! We will finally have a respectable shop that will be honest, up front and straight forward. You will have no worries that they are going to screw you over like the last 3 shops in York, PA have. I have complete faith in CBRD. Hell, the whole Block Family are great people!
