Ill be at the game. Cant wait my first trip to Sh*tsburgh. I may come back smelling like a white trash trailer park toothless red neck hillbilly ***** that big ben slept with in a bathroom in some sleezy bar in downtown pittsburgh when I get back so forgive me.

With all that said, cant wait for another bloodbath of a game. These are always fun so Im pumped to see one of these away in a hostile environment. I know quite a few tickets are still available for the game so go buy yours! Should be a lot of purple there.

Lets Gooooooo

Btw, anyone see Sugg's new shirt? Priceless..

Your words, eat them. Enjoy the long drive/flight back to Baltimore and enjoy the long summer.

It doesn't look like the Patriots are going to "blow" anyone out again this year. This is the playoffs, anything can happen... so you can eat your words too.

I still don't think Pittsburgh will win the Super Bowl this year, but it is not smart to make assumptions during the playoffs like the posters above did. I mean look at the Seahawks upsetting the Saints in the first week. Anyone who picked them to win that matchup is a damn liar.

I am rootin for the steelers, as I gotta keep it in the home state, since my eagles lost in the first week, they gotta pretty good chance. and either way I think the superbowl should be a good game with whoever is in it from who's left anyway. Just very glad that the Patriots are out, tired of seeing the patriots there.

Actually, my words that you bolded still stand and were only afirmed when i went to that misserable city. You have some of the worst, ugliest, rudest, POS, fans I hav ever seen. Everything that people say about the people there is true and then some. That city is more of a dump then baltimore, philly, and new york combined. I definitely wont go back to that god awful place... So yes this is all true:

As far as the game I dont really have much to say. It was what we thought it was going to be and the team that made the big play at the very end and didnt make as many mistakes as the other won. Those games always go either way and pitt found a way to win at the end. Props to ben for finding the no name reciever to win the game. No chance at beating the jets and then the packers. Your o-line is so bad you wont beat those teams, but who knows any given sunday.

And the squeelers didnt win the game the ravens gave it away.

One persons account of a city is hardly a way to judge a city, don't you think?

Pittsburgh has one of the nicer cities, not comparable to New York (IMO one of the best cities in the country), but surely the same as Baltimore if not better (Pgh has a lower crime rate by a significant margin, less unemployment, more money per capita being reinvested into city, newer sports facilities, etc). I am sure the fans weren't very nice to you, as I can tell by your demeanor in your previous post that you probably had nothing good to say about anything. You probably got what you had coming to you, if fans gave you a hard time.

I would expect nothing less from Baltimore fans, either. I was at the game when you won earlier in the season, and your fans had nothing good to say. What did you expect now that the shoe is on the other foot? It is called a rivalry for a reason.

I am not sure how to react to the "we gave the game away" comment. Some people say this to belittle the win for the other team, but it was an even game all in all. We had two turnovers that you scored touchdowns off of, you had three that we scored 17 points off of. That seems pretty even keeled to me, wouldn't you agree? It was a terrible third quarter for you, but even still your big playmakers couldn't follow through all game (Flacco a pick and a fumble, Rice a fumble, Boldin and Housh a drop, 5 sacks given up).

As for the O-line, I agree with you it is our weak point. We will see if they can straighten it out in the off week here, but they are running short on personnel. I like their chances against the Jets this weekend, but as these playoffs have shown nothing is for certain. I don't think they will win it all, and wouldn't be surprised if they lost next week, but I like their chances just as much as any other team in the playoffs.

You have to be kidding! Here is a second opinion, I'm sure there are many more. I've been there, it is a ****hole no doubt about it. It is grey everyday. The economic outlook is second only to detroit. You may be right on Crime rate, I don't have the stats, however in baltimore it is concentrated in mainly one area. money per capita???? huh??! Of the three richest counties in america two are in maryland and adjacent to baltimore, the third in Northern Virginia.

The reason why there are so many pitt fans in maryland and around the country annoying the rest of us, and clogging our establishments with those hideous jerseys is simple. NO ONE CAN STAND TO LIVE THERE. There is no work. They have to move to where the work is. This is confirmed every time I meet one of the dirty roaches from west PA.

Argue sports all you want, but don't try to compare Pittsburgh to any other american city and think your arguement will hold water. (Disclaimer: with exception of prior mentioned detroit and maybe cleveland)

You pretty much covered what I was going to say about the city

As far as:

"I am sure the fans weren't very nice to you, as I can tell by your demeanor in your previous post that you probably had nothing good to say about anything. You probably got what you had coming to you, if fans gave you a hard time."

I am actually far from that. I didnt stand and chear or bearly clap the whole first half even when we scored. I am a very quiet fan in an away stadium. I was sober, quiet, and very nice to all the people around me. I even made a few "friends". However the other people around me tried pouring beer on my head, made rude *** comments from afar, and the whole time after the game leaving the stadium I had stank *** red necks put their arm around me and continuously touch me saying I should root for them now that the ravens are out and all kinds of other ridiculous crap.

I hope Bin Ladin shoots a nuke at the US and it misses its target and lands directly on ****tsburgh and blows up everything in it. F that city, everyone from there, everything that lives there, the color yellow, the color black when mixed with yellow, Ben and his rapist f'ing ***, hienz ward and his stupid asian smile, and heinz ketchup for having a stupid sign on that stadium.

I cant wait to see what strategic defense the Jets are going to use against a giant rapist..

I hope he rapes another chick and goes to jail. Then gets *** raped by someone that looks like terrell suggs but bigger.

I find the Pittsburgh and Baltimore arguments hilarious. It's like fighting with a cousin. They are basically the same city. They are both blue collar industrial based cities with a wide ethnic base with almost the same football team.

As for the fans, I see more Steelers fans around DC than Ravens so I can only speak to how annoying most Steelers fans are.

Buchnerj, I consider you very level headed for a Pitt fan as we have had intellectual conversations on the Caps Pens rivalry. Silver06evo9mr, I know you love the Ravens but you are really coming off as sour grapes on this. Just be proud of your team's accomplishments in getting that far in the playoffs.
