Why not just wrap your downpipe with exhaust wrap?

Or

If you really want to cermaic coat it use - VHT paint to do it.

Wrap is not a good idea for a daily. Moisture will get trapped in it and freeze in the winter. It also gets torn and messy in a short period of time. VHT paint will flake off in no time and do practically nothing for you. Curious why your looking into it Yi. I have never seen a ceramic coated dp before. I have seen manifolds, turbo housings and o2 housings but not dp's. I do believe you will have to have a coating shop do that for you. There used to be a guy around here that did that stuff. I can't remember his info, I will ask Ray if he remembers. I think Ray used him before. Swain tech or Jet hot are choices I believe.

FWIW, I had an Apexi down-pipe wrapped for 24,500 miles, no tears and it worked fine here in New England.

Also, I'd look into powder coating it. I have been powder coating a lot of my parts in the garage. I Read some HOW-TO's online and bought a starter kit and have been doing it myself.
The issues that you will run into are that the material really needs to be media blasted before you powder coat it and you need an oven. I use the media blaster at work and borrowed an oven.

It's pretty easy and the results are well worth the time and money.

Map will coat their X DP but at a hefty $125 price tag. I was looking to see if a local shop can do it cheaper.

LOL. This is old thread. Heck no ceramic coat on stock downpipe. I asked this when I had 3" downpipe because it was bit close to oil pan. I know "Works" offers coated 3" dp claims prevent heat from reaching the transfer case. But good luck spend $600+ on their downpipe. Lonnie, Thank you for posting. Always good info.

Sorry, I didn't realize how old the post was. Duh. My comments were based on my experiences with the level of workmanship that most DIY'ers have. Not to mention a big oven. Haha.

Good luck with your search Supergouki!!
