Moore Automotive in Fairfax is amazing.
CBRD is in York and has a jaw dropping shop.

ehhhh on the Ptuning. They are primarily a honda/brz shop and charge a LOT more for tunes etc etc than MOORE who is an evo speciality shop.

yea, i wouldn't recommend ptuning. Check out the others before you head over there. They really specialize in scion tc and the new frs/brz. They also just made a kit for the s2k and do those also. Other than that, i wouldn't recommend them. Do a google search, lots of horror stories. And coming from personal experience, friends, and family going there, i DO NOT recommend them at all.

Ptuning is a very reputable shop and has been tuning Evo's for years. While they do pull in a lot of FRS/BRZ and Scion TC business, they also have experience tuning just about anything you can think of. Also, they have had an S2k kit available for a about 5 years now. They didn't just come out with one recently. I would have no problem having them tune my Evo based on my personal experience there. All that being said, there are many great options in the DMV area...we are very fortunate.

What about Atlantic Motorsports in MD? Does anyone have input on them?

I wont comment personally, but i have read, like above poster, many horror stories about them and i know people personally who went to ptuning and didnt get results they wanted(no, not just numbers, actually times) so went to moore and got full potential out of their setups. I have a friend who works at PTuning, so im not trying to hate just being honest. Also, i dont see why you would go there when MOORE is known for evos and is a vendor on the forum and they produce some serious vehicles. As far as as atlantic goes, i can only go by what i read/hear and its pretty up and down.

I've been around the MID-A for awhile and running turbo cars for a hot minute.
Moving from Plano, Texas and having Cobb right around the corner from me is a bit of a shock but I've thrown in my lot with the guys over at CBRD and they will soon be doing some upgrades to my suspension and finishing off my engine build now that I have the engine sealed and broken in right.

Here's to soon being in the 35psi club with my X MR.
