My interpretation is that the rule is even more strict than this. I remember the wording as somethink like boost being controlled by "stock means". That would imply that you have to run a stock boost profile AND stock boost control system (no xede boost wire). Maybe I should check if I can leave the xede fully wired and simply set the boost map to a stock levels.

I guess you have seen:

http://www.planet-torque.com/sche.php

once that will be updated.. I am sure you can find an event (autoX or track) every weekend from April to October. Then have a small brake and go Ice Racing.

I drive black Hype R. No match for a Evo on track, but does well at AutoX It should be faster in 05... ... race tires and konis. I hope that I can catch some
street tire Evo's raw time ... most likly not .. but nice to dream about it

BTW, talking about Learning Curve, it looks like we might be chairing it LOL

Hubert,

Let me know if you need volunteers (course workers, administrative, etc . . . ) for The Learning Curve.

No, my ecu is stock. I don't see any reason to get the xedeflash without some serious mods (built internals, new turbo, etc). The xede maps are on the website.

I found that I needed the XEDE Flash after I installed larger cams. The car was moving enough extra air that I began hitting fuel cut regularly.

Resurrecting this thread

Bringing this one back to life - auto-x season approaches and I'm thinking about setup!
I wanted to clear up a mistake I made a few posts back where I said the ESP index was better - WRONG! STU index is 0.818 compared to ESP index of 0.826. That's a damn big difference, especially considering that legal mods are only slightly stricter for STU. Since I have no plans to get R compounds, I'll definitely be running STU this year, with an index like that we should see lots of STi/Evo action in that class! Who's in?

By the way Bill, I just re-read your posts, that's a smart move to get out of SM. The good thing is that used stuff sells very well on here so you won't be out too much. I think the only way I would enter SM is with a set of coilovers and turbo kit - which would be too much car for me ;-)
