Hi

does anyone know a good wheel powder coat shop around AKron-Cleveland area?

the only one i know is motomotion in median
i called, and the guy told me it's about 700~900$

i want to have my LE28 gunmetal w/polished lip repainted to get rid of the polish lip
is this possible to match the original gunmetal color ?

or anyone know any good bodyshop that does good job at painting wheels?

DO NOT USE MOTOMOTION. THEY ARE INCOMPETANT. TERRIBLE SERVICE AND WORKMANSHIP. I REPEAT DO NOT USE MOTOMOTION.

On a lighter note, are you willing to ship your wheels? If so, I know of a few places in Florida that may interest you. PM me if you like...

Now I'm not promoting this place because I have never heard about or used them. I'm just posting this link because this place is right by my house and I always see it and was thinking about going here when I get my rims powdercoated.

They seem to be pretty cool. They have a lot of cool options.

here's another local company which does powder coating, they're in mentor. I was going to get something powder coated at them, but I just never got around to it, so I can't say anything as to their quality.

OK. I got a quote from that Progressive Powdercoating place I mentioned above.

17" rims are $75/piece + $60 set-up fee.

If they do not have your desired color in stock, there is a $33 stocking fee.

So total for (4) 17" wheels powder coated, you are looking at $360 if they have your color in stock and $393 if they don't.

I don't know? That seems pretty decent, but I don't know what normal pricing is.

If you guys need junk powdercoated, the guy that does al of our ceramic coatings also does powder. He has an oven big enough to fit a Jr. Dragster in.

Hi Joe! If you can get a hold of Anthony that would be fine, or just get a hold of me.
