Some kind of Evo (it was pretty dark couldn't tell the color) heading South on Broadview rd, between Walling and Royalton rd. I know it was VIII.
You must have seen me, as I was driving my purple Diablo...
Always my exotic cars, never my evo

Just checking in Dave (thanks for the heads up!). Sounds like evom will be well represented in April, I'm looking forward to meeting some of you guys. Last fall I was just hitting 145 going into the braking zone at the end of the back straight. This year I should see 150.
Mid Ohio will eat up HP+'s for sure, especially running the pro course. If it's your first DE, I wouldn't worry too much about it unless you are doing two days. I can't wait for the season to start, I'm hoping to be in the 1:35's or 1:36's on the pro course. I just picked up a trailer today - no more driving the race car to the race track!
If you see the car stop by and say hi, I'll also most likely be working in pit/grid all weekend so I'll try and introduce myself. I attached a sneak peek of the car so you'll what to look for.

With the kind of power you have you could probably hit close to 140 on the back straight (Greg, are you reading this thread? what do you hit?) so, yeah, you'll want to do a good job on the brakes! With the Pro configuration there are two, hard braking zones: T5 and T7 -- Hawk HP+ aren't really cut out for that. Let your instructor know you have a low 11 car, there are a couple places where you want to be careful. I don't really have to worry about that!

It was probably my boy Brian. Wingless, lowered, and sporting a Jun Bl exhaust.
Yeah, I think so. Thanks for your "phone a friend" helpline reference.
Jesse and I spent about 9 hours on the brakes on Sat. What a PITA! I was expecting it to take ~3hrs. But, if the two of us did Evo brakes again, I'd bet we could get it done in about 3-4 hours.
We did not bleed the clutch line.
The car stops well, but the pedal feels a bit spongy. However, after driving Talon's car, i noticed that the pedal is firm, initial bite is great but does not increase in a linear fashion as more pedal pressure is applied. My brakes initial bite are not as hard but increase in a very linear fashion until ABS "lockup." I think overall I'll be very happy with them when they get completely bedded in.

Dude, my legs are so sore today from that damn brake pedal.
Definitely don't have 'burly' legs... hockey last night probably didn't help.
And to give ourselves a little credit, it was more like 8 hours not 9. Come on, man, we're not that slow.
The first one took forever, but the next three went really smoothly. I just really hope air didn't get sucked into the line when we forgot to top off the resevour that one time.
