Mine is probably significantly quieter because of the cat.

My stage 2 catless subi was incredibly louder. To the point where I would hit the gas and:

1) not need the feeble horn to get other drivers attention
2) I would immediately look for cops after hitting the gas
3) I would shove in the clutch when passing traps.

The Evo with the 3' and magnaflow with cat is about as loud as most cars with just a peformance muffler. I can safely run stealth with it. Next time I am at the AX they have a DB meter I will have it checked. But its prolly the quietest evo I have heard.

*** sry ny-quil I see you actually have teh exhaust as well. I guess I can only add that my wife doesnt mind it ? and she hates noisy cars...

no cat here. The car can sound somewhat "ricey" at times with my current setup

I definitely havent seen you. I have only seen 2 black and 1 silver since November.

Would be cool to get a bunch of the locals together at like an OVR AutoX.

That way I wouldnt look so out of place among the hoardes of subaru's there.

Dont make me fight all these angry subi's alone!!!

But seriously if you need info on the OVR AX's just PM me. I would love to both see your cars and meet the names behind the forum's.

Cheers!

I think he may be referring to the "look at me factor" that the loud exhaust adds to the speed of an Evo as it passes through a speed trap.

(Not that you and I know from any personal experience about negative attention from Johnny Law )

When a car can rattle pictures inside a house a cop in a 'speed trap' can have a reason to come after you, as weak sauce as it is it happens. A stage 2 wrx with a 3 inch TBE and no cats is PF loud.

I mentioned this in another thread, but I don't think you ever made it back... before your care made it to Ricart I got a chance to check it out, and it solidified for me that I wanted a white one.

Unfortunately Ohio only got 2 white ones (one sold to you, and one at MSRP+$2k), so I had to ship mine in.

Everyone else, just thought I'd stop in and say hello.
