got your back Bumper! Quicksilver (brody) is the captain for TEAM USA, and he thinks he will get a team together to whoop up on us.

 

Here is a tenative overview of the events/airport. Those there last May, can see the MORE space we will be using. Get ready!

 

Another thing, a lot of the One Lap of America racers want to enter this year, so the date might be AFTER they are done. so it might be the first weekend of June this year. Will have the date set SOON. rules/regs, etc.. will be posted as we firm them up.

so basically the FAA is shutting the airport down for the day?

 

As of now, it is the north-south runway, which will be closed to air-traffic, So we can use it! (will see about diverting air traffic to Allisonville airport 10 miles away.) Possibly we can have BOTH runways.

 

Shouldn't the 0-60ft and the Drag event be run at the same time or should I say, timed at the same event? Save the clutch!

Very good idea! I will check into that. By that I mean, this time it is a Total grudge match, and there is a Captain for the domestic side, and myself. we have to agree on the events, so I will pass this along to him. I personally think it is a great idea!

Thats for sure. he has some of his buddies with Saleen S7's, ligenfelter Vettes, Vipers etc... This will surely be a BATTLE ROYALE!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

 

Wow!! Saleen S7's huh??!! It will be interesting to see how those bad boys do!! I didn't think anyone that owned one would drive it like it was supposed to be driven. I will LOVE to see that monster eat up the track.

 

This wont be won by an ultra exotic (my guess) there will be some boys on both sides who compete in the 1 lap of America also. Round up your buddies also Bumper!
