Official Winged Warrior Ii. (2006) Merged
Hey SmokedMustang, Is there still going to be a "Special Lancer Class" this year for us poor guys still stuck in a NA Lancer??? I hope to be able to run again this year, I had a blast last year. I just don't think my car would be picked as 1 of the 70 to run for the Imports unless it is as a last resort....
BTW, If anyone knows of any jobs in the Indy area, The company I work for has declaired bankruptcy and I am out of a job! If I don't find another job soon, I will have to sell the Lancer...
I am willing to move my family anywhere for work.
Thanks, Jay
Remember Me? OZ is starting to look like it's bigger brother....

When is this supposed to be? And who wants to donate an Evo to me?
Im not sure if i'm going to even AutoX the Lancer next year, something is really pissing me off about the car (aka the wheel studs) and it's making me less interested in using the Lancer to autox. I'd love to run, but not with my car.
OT: On that note..is anyone interested in buying a set of Falken Azenis on stock OZ wheels from me?
They still have decent tread, for going through about 7 events on them.

Thats cool.I dont really like the look, but LOVE the adjustability of it!A) The wing is cool....I know you are running circuit tracks next year, so I think it is cool. Now if this was on a Ford escort or something (I have seen it)....then NO!
B) OK the stickers are a little much for my taste....but on a track (and anywhere else for that matter) it makes your car stand out....so i like them too. You at least have all the parts on your car that you have stickers for (not sure about the GM one), so I approve.
C) Time for Stewart Smalley's self affirmation: Look in the mirror and say, "I'm good enough, smart enough, good looking, and darn it....people like me and my rocket of a car!!"

I'm all in for it. I could gatehr a few other EVO's around town the are avid autocrossers. I myself don't do it, but it sounds like a butt load of fun and it's for a good cause.
Plus it will give me a chance to try out the new hotness once it's installed, tuned, and running right.
I've got til June, so hopefully I can get some susupension components on my car as well. If not, I don't care. It just sounds fun.

Hello guys,
I just want to see if you want to participate in an Import/Domestic shootout next June 3rd.(2006). This time the battle will be fierce. 70 imports vs 70 domestics. The airport will be shut down for us, and entry is by donation only $5.00 and up. All proceeds go to the Local Childrens Hospital (Riley Hospital for Children).
You can look at my thread: Official Winged Warrior II Thread
This will not pit you guys against each other, rather it will help our "team" whoop up on the Vettes/Vipers/Cobras etc...
Event list:
1. Auto-X
2. 700 ft Slalom
3. 100 MPH-0 braking
4. Skidpad
5. 1/4 mile Drag-race
6. 0-60 MPH
All cars have 3 chances per event, must complete at least 1 run at all events. Lowest time is a Keeper.
The top 5 imports and the top 5 Domestic cars, then will compete in the grand finale, to determine the overall winner.
There will be SCCA/MVSSC personel to help with the timing equipment etc... This is an open invitation to you guys. pm or post here if you have any interest.
For the rest of you guys, ANYONE can enter and Participate, we will have our website up soon, to pre-register. Registration will be open from Jan-Feb, and final selection will be made as to the teams in March.
here is an update, the 0-60 is MPH, NOT FEET!
