Official Winged Warrior Ii. (2006) Merged
We actually moved the date from Mothers Day weekend, to the beginning of June, as there are some One lap of America racers who want to participate in this "throw-down"
The classes will range from stock to OMG!

Auf Wiedersehen! und Prost
I think this is something I need to do, especially if I can be in a close-to-stock class. Not sure if I'll be in the Dynoflash/Buschur camp or solo, but I'll keep track of the situation.
I'm in.
Is there a tire change allowed for the different events? Hopefully not. I'd hate for the Vipers, Vettes, etc. to be allowed drag slicks for the 1/4 mile and 0-60 part of the competition

You dont have to be in the AMS/Bushur/Dynoflash "camps", as there is not (at least at present) a Tuner camp. Kenny Brown and his mustangs will be racing, if I can get the Ligenfelter camp to join, etc... Then I may have a seperate "TUNER" class. Otherwise, this is an open invitation for the guys above to help us anialate the TEAM USA. to be on our side! This will have cars from Lambos, to Saleen S7's to the new ford GT40's and the list goes on and on.
Last May, I paid for this myself, this year (besides the portable drag lights and laser timers, and some other stuff) There are corporate money being infused to this. food/trophies/prizes etc... will be by deeper pockets. Nationsrent will cough in the Floodlights for the runway, MVSCC will help with the timing gear for the auto-X, some of the One-lappers will donate time and scoring gear also. Have space for lots of vendors etc... Look for a huge event. AMS/BUSHUR may know me by my real name: Kevin Butterfield. Now my true identity is out in the open!
Hmm, with one set of tires/wheels allowed for the whole thing, I think I could do quite well. My 0-60 should be close to 3.3 or maybe even lower by then with more mods, 1/4 in the high 11s, and I'm decent at autocrossing, especially if I'm in an SCCA-limited class that doesn't require full suspension upgrades. Sounds like fun...

The Final event with the top 5 import vs top 5 Domestic cars will run under the lights, to determine superiority. Again, this is for all sorts of cars, with all sorts of mods, or no mods at all.
