I want to do tons of performance upgrades to my EVO but don't have a clue to where I should take it to get these things done. Can anybody recomend where to go? I live in western Michigan and would perfer this side but have no problem driving over to the Detroit side if there is one there. Any help would be greatly appreciated!

 

I think there are a couple of good shops in the Chicago area - people there can provide you with more info. I know there isn't a shop in MN/WI that I would let touch my bicycle let alone my Evo (then again, I have a really nice bicycle!). I am lucky enough to have a father that can fabricate & fit anything I need and friends with nice temp controlled garage space, and I like getting under the hood, so I don't need a shop, but good luck finding one.

EDIT: isn't GodSpeed in MI? Wasn't there a thread here in the Midwest forum of a tuning shop offering free dyno testing in MI? I can't find it, maybe it was moved (or started in another forum).

There is this kid in my town with a Jetta
But he has a friend who is works with Perfomance shop around K-Zoo...
They have a little VW crew and they meet up with alot of street racers around K-Zoo...
You and I should also go to GR sometime and go to 28th street.. there is a spot where like 100+ cars gather and chill .... ALot of dumbasses there but alot of good people with good info too!

Hello. We have a shop on the west side of Detroit in Novi. We have an AWD Dyno here in house and are looking for an EVO to do some testing with. This means free dynoing for you if you want to volunteer and want to pick up som mods from us as well as volunteer for some test fitting of some of our new products. We have Blitz SUS intakes in stock and are looking at doing a custom downpipe as well. Let me know if you're interested.
