Freeplay at the top of the peda? Definatly not, it should have the same amount of freeplay as it had stock.

U might need to adjust ur clutch pedal.

The Exedy stage 2 is the 4 puck right?

U should of gone with the ACT Street HDSS. Much better daily driving, and holds more power.

I adjusted my stock clutch to feel just like that, engages near the bottom of the pedal. If you want it higher you can adjust it following the "evomoto" technique.

this is my first time getting a new clutch and still getting used to the new feeling... im not sure if this is normal or not but it doesn't feel right to me... in forward...the clutch vibrates the car at take off even when i give it gas...i hear a noise coming from trans....in reverse...it grabs right away and engages really smoothly with no vibration what so ever...maybe its just the break in process...i been keeping the rpm below 3500 the whole time until i hit 500miles..

nevermind...i read bunch of thread and alot of people have this issue...i guess its just normal break in period and characteristic of exedy stage II... also im curious... im thinkin about taking out the restrictor at the release cylinder...would that make the engagement too harsh for DD or would it improve engagement with no driveabilty problem?

A customer brought a car in with an ACT with the clutch adjusted low like that complaining of lockout/grinding issues when shifting hard. I test drove it and sure enough, it was real bad. I adjusted the clutch back up to oem specs, and presto it shifted like it had a brand new shep race trans.

Keep your pedals high like they come stock guys. The pull designs are like that for a reason!

How are you liking the Exedy Stage 2; I think my clutch is starting to die on me and will probably be getting a new one soon. I was also considering the ACT Extreme as I currently have the ACT Heavy Duty and liked that. I may have to give DEVO a call to see what they charge.

Update: the clutch has 800 miles on it and well broken in and feeling alot like stock just a bit heavier.... somethings i notice is that its really hard to get into reverse from neutral and some of the foward gears also....i read somewhere that i might need a extended slave cylinder rod for aftermarket clutch to resolve this problem?? and also...another thing is it get noisy sometimes and for some reason....every time the clutch is pushed in....with car on or off....the clutch squeeks like crazy....im not sure why or if its going to go away sooner...lack of lubricant? i am not sure...any help would be good...thanks
