Clutch installation in chicagoland

the retainer ring for the TOB bearing came popped off on my stock clutch so i thought i might as well get a new clutch since i need to get the trans off to get it fixed.... the evo is my daily driver so i need it fixed asap.... does anyone know any reputable shop around chicagoland area that does clutch job at a decent price... i called ams and they are packed til late next week....any input would be apprieciated....

i gave them a call and guy is really friendly but the shop is about an hour away...its going to cost me some money to get it towed there...anyone know any place that can tow for cheap???

Devo is the way to go.

He gets it done in a very reasonable time, just a few hours.

What people have said here, or P&L motor sports in Franklin Park.

OR, if you're feeling up to it you could do it yourself. I'm far from a mechanic and didn't have any problems doing it.

where are you located at? I know somebody who has a shop at Bridgeview, United Imports, works on imported vehicles, japanese and germans. reasonably priced. the owner's name is lito(filipino).

DEVO FTW, i had my clutch done in 2 hours or so in my 1G and i had no problems whatsoever. 3 yearslater and still no issues! Great workfor a great price!

hey man...thanks...i called them and the guy kept speaking spanish at first so i thought i got the wrong number...the guy is cool and i told them you sent me and they are glad and thanks alot...im getting my car towed to devo later today...

dude....it been about 3 hours since i called and they tow truck still is not here...they told me they are stuck in traffic and can tow my car tomorow.....they said they could be here in 30 minutes but im not sure what happened....i guess i have to wait another day...dude said he want to make it up to me and will give a discount...i guess things happen sometimes...

hey man...i never done this before but i dont have another ride to go there or come back so would it be fine just to give my key and my car to the tow truck driver and have him drop it off without going with him? im not sure if thats how its suppose to be...

it seems like no one ever picks up the phone at devo... they told me my clutch didn't come in for some reason so i have to wait til tuesday which is tomorow...
