Standalone and Passing IL Emissions?
Actually try this link as the forms work here: http://www.epa.state.il.us/air/vim/forms.html
You shouldn't have any problem passing emissions running 110 octane as long as your car isn't throwing any CEL and the OBDII port is functioning. They no longer do the sniffer test and just plug into your OBDII port to see if you have had any recent codes.

Chris, I would either look into doing a MAF translater pro or just keeping an extra fuel rail with stock injectors laying around for test time. All you would really have to do is hook up your car (30 mins) throw in the injectors (30mins) and plug in the stock ecu (5 mins).
Not too bad considering you only have to do it once every 2 years.
I guess the main question I would have would be how fast are you looking to go?
oops, this is Justin

oops, this is JustinMy only concern is getting a set of big lumpy cams (JUN/Tomei) to idle and not throw codes on the stock ecu and I would rather avoid having to convert the car back to stock if I don't have to. To answer your question; my goal is to trap 135+ or put down 600+ whp on a dynojet. I'm going to look into the MAFT Pro to see what it offers, but would really like the HKS VPRO as a standalone solution. AMS needs to step up and start tuning this standalone
So you ended up going with SD? how much did it cost you to run this, I do all my tuning so I have no problem sitting behind my computer for awhile working things out just curious as to price.

The only cost for me was to purchase the sensors (4-bar map & GM IAT) and to have a bung welded on my intercooler pipe. I did all the ecu setup and tuning.
