LOL, Dang man don't hold back! Well wait just a min. I grewup and went to school at OZARK. Yep OZARK usually owned NIXA on the Field and on the Court. I moved to Republic about a year ago because I had a bigger house built and to make money it was a smart choice. I remember the good old school days I didn't like republic either. Anyway how old are you? I am 26, I don't like to admit it but yes 26 and still just a kid at heart. I plan on heading up early I am taking a guy with me and I will probably pick him up by or before 6am. I figured 3-4 hours including finding the place and stops stuff so we should be good. I could leave earlier but I was just thinking no later than 6am. If we leave at 6am arive would be at 10am , people are starting at 8am so we could leave at 5am and help or whatever. Just let me know what you had in mind.

-N10s, i know that you don't anticipate safc tuning due to the gb time consuming. i have pm you that i have to cancel my pre-order for the gb.
anyway, let me know if i still can run the dyno tune after the gb or maybe keep my second turn on your lists?
if you can't put me in due to i cancelled from the gb, that's fine.
just can't wait any longer for upgrade the evo!

Hi Everyone,

I Just wanted to thank N10S for doing a fantastic job organizing the St. Louis Dyno Day for us. I am really looking forward to meeting all of you and am happy to have received such a strong response expressing interest in the WORKS products.

I am now confirmed on my trip, and will be bringing along more than enough Brain Flashes, P2s, Apertures, Exhales and Croxx Plates to fill all the orders we have received.

I know there are various vendors out there offering cut-rate discounted products or "next big thing" promises. For those of you who will be participating in the WORKS dyno day, know that you have chosen wisely and will be receiving products with unparalleled Engineering/R&D and a level of customer satisfaction that would be the envy of any tuner.

Again, I look forward to meeting you and having you put a face to WORKS -- a rare opportunity for our non-local customers.

Ok guys, here's a first run at a tentative dyno day schedule. I am going to review this with Ron/Axis Racing this week to see if this will fly logistically. There are a few people on the list that may fall-off, and a few that may be added.

Basically the idea is that all of the local folks go on an early schedule, and anyone getting the Works re-flash will actually have two sessions to provide a before and after snapshot for reference purposes. The time required to install the P2 hose assembly requires pulling the car off the dyno after performing the baseline run.We do have at least one person that will be coming in to get the re-flash in the morning, but will not be participating in the dyno activity. I may have to juggle the schedule a little to allow for proper cool-down prior to installing the P2 hose assembly .

The mid-day and afternoon schedule is reserved for folks coming from out of town / out-state. I have also tried to allow more time for the SAFC and E-manage participants. I am trying to schedule people based on distance traveled, so if you live in Columbia Mo or KC for instance I have tried to slot you before the Chicago guys who have the furthest to travel.

If anyone has any feedback or wants to adjust timing let me know via pm.

Thanks

Thanks for commenting on the dyno day David! I just posted a wordy response to your St.Louis dyno day confirmation post in the Works forum. Hopefully folks will take a look at it, and consider the content, as it is heartfelt feedback that took a bit to compose.

Anyway thanks again for your commitment David and the commitment of Works to make this kind of local/regional trip!

In addition I also appreciate the gb and dyno-day group for hanging in for what should be a nice event!

N10S, it looks like right now we only have 6 or so confirmed people in on the group purchase according to the intial post of this thread?

Do we get an actual group purchase discount at that level of participation?

Yes, we still have a 10% discount at the very least. I had hoped we would reach the 15% level and the 20% was a stretch goal for sure. I don't think we will have any trouble keeping the 10% discount as the ones that are left are pretty solid. Thanks to Works adjusting the price of the P2, even the 10% discount brings the price down to a very favorable cost of $540 and also keeps $60 for shipping in your pocket which isn't chump-change!

Btw- Are you still interested in the throttle-body? I know we have several folks interested, and thought that you were one of them. I am going to finalize an extra parts list with David this coming Monday, so he can ship some parts and pieces to me prior to the actual event. Just let me know if you want one!

I will conceed to that. Ozark was better in your day than they were in mine. I am 23 I am not for sure what time I am going up though, if we go up that morning I will give you a hollar.

Sounds good, Just let me know. Once I get up there I will probably stop at a car wash as well to clean up so hopefully there is one close.

I'll have to do some math to make sure I can afford at a 10% discount. I'll post tonight or tomorrow morning with a final decision.

Spike and others: once the deposit is in and the day is confirmed, you are deemed to be committed to follow through. Keep in mind that the point of a dyno day is not to have people sign up only if they can achieve whatever tier of discount they would like to see, but rather, to justify the time, energy and expense that both WORKS, and your fellow board member, N10s, have invested in making this event happen. If you are concerned about seeing a particular discount offered, please do your part to help N10s generate some additional attendance at the event.

To those of you who cancelled prior to the dyno day being confirmed and finalized, this does not apply to you. To all others, please consider yourselves as obligated to attend this event as I have now purchased my plane ticket and made the arrangements to send products from California.

On another note, this dyno day represents a smoking deal on a terrific line of products and will have a truly unique opportunity to avoid the downtime usually associated with getting the Brain Flash by mail.

I think spike was referring to picking up the throttle body in addition to the P2 flash. I don't think he was talking about backing out alltogether.

No problem then! I just wanted to make sure that we were being fair to everyone that committed to joining us on the 1st. If we have people withdraw altogether, it would raise the dyno rates for those that do participate dramatically -- not something I want to see happen.

David,

Perhaps you should actually read a post before jumping to a conclusion and posting threats about legal and financial obligations directed at me, and generally being an *** towards a customer on an open forum.

Like was posted, we were discussing adding a Throtte Body onto our P2 purchases! If pissing a customer off was the intention of your post, then you did a great job...

I see you don't have any complaints posted yet on http://www.oakland.bbb.org/ but perhaps that will be changing in the very near future.

Now are you really sure you want me as a customer at this point?

(a very pissed off) Spike
