Like was posted, we were discussing adding a Throtte Body onto our P2 purchases! If pissing a customer off was the intention of your post, then you did a great job...

I see you don't have any complaints posted yet on http://www.oakland.bbb.org/ but perhaps that will be changing in the very near future.

Now are you really sure you want me as a customer at this point?

(a very pissed off) Spike

Spike, sorry to have upset you -- I had no such intention. Clearly I misunderstood the message of your post, and for that I apologize.

I hope that you can accept my apology and understand that I am looking out for the group's best interest. Obliviously, if you were canceling on the group my reply would have been appropriate as both Jeff and I have put a lot of hard work into making this a event possible for everyone. However, since that is clearly not what you were saying, and this was most definitely a misunderstanding on my part -- I hope you understand the nature of my response and accept my apology.

Hopefully if you can see where I was coming from, you will feel less wronged by what I posted.

The easiest way would be too look up on mapquest or yahoo! to 118 North first Street Belleville, IL 62220.

Hey folks, for directions see page 5 of this thread. There are directions that someone pasted in from I think mapquest, and then below that is info from Turbopoo2000 talking about the accuracy of those directions.

Basically coming from the north heres the condensed version:

1) I-55 S. towards St.Louis
2) I-255 S. towards Memphis
3) Take exit 17a Il 15 E.
4) Take Il 159 S. to fountain in middle of the road and continue past this turnstyle on 159 S.
5) Look for N. 1St street on the left.
6) Look for the Big Top Skate Park/ Circus Skates sign....this is the building the dyno is in. As Mike noted above the address is 118 North First St. Belleville, Il 62220

The above is referenced from a Chicago south direction stand-point, but the rest of the participants will either be coming across on I-70, or up from the south on I44. Just reference the highway info on an atlas or road map and you should be able to find your way with no trouble.

Hope this helps folks!

When I had originally discussed dyno pricing with Ron @ Axis Racing we were quoted a day price of $1,250 to be divided between participants. As it stands it appears we will only have 15-16 people participating in the actual dyno activities. This creates a higher price per person than originally estimated, so I have worked out a deal with Ron to set a fixed price for each person at $65 per person/car. This applies to all attendees, and the only exclusion would be if someone ends-up requiring substantially more tuning time.

Btw- If you are involved in the Works Gb, David will be able to handle credit card transactions on-site for the Works re-flash and any other Works products. Payment for dyno time will need to be in the form of cash. Again $65 per person is the standard rate unless you require a substantial amount of tuning time.

Sorry it has taken so long to get this info out, but until we had most of the attendance details ironed-out we were not sure if the day-use or individual use payment made more sense.

Thanks for your patience regarding getting this info!

This is getting expensive. $65 is fair, though. I know Ron runs a $50 special where you get 5 runs w/no tuning that takes up about 20 minutes of dyno time. We are getting 6 runs and 30-40 minutes of dyno time.

Thats exactly it slt, we discussed the time spent on average with the P2 and SAFC crowd, and thats what seemed fair. Going with the day rate would have driven the cost per person up to aroud $75-80 per car, which is just too pricey.

jfe,

Thanks for confirming ! Do me a favor and pm me some info on when you are planning on heading down and I will make sure you get slotted in later in the day as needed! Ron at Axis is willing to go late in the day as needed to get everyone through!

Let me know if you are still looking for references for lodging and I will try and get a couple of local hotel names/numbers for you.

Thanks again!

Hmmm...Haven't seen any longer range weather yet, but will check it in the morning. As Ron at Axis mentioned the other day, the weather can suck and the dyno activities can still go on inside with no issues. Hopefully the rain in Springfield won't hit St.Louis until later in the day or evening!

jfe-

Did you want David to bring an exhale or aperture as well, or were you just going for the P2 reflash? Let me know as David has to ship the parts fairly soon...like tomorrow at the latest, if he hasn't already..... . Just let me know as we still have time and theres still time.

N10S I would buy a aperture if there is time to ship one down and if we get the discount. I planned on installing a Walbro fuel pump as well but I figured I would wait to install till after the Dyno day now I wished I had them both. Just let me know if he would have time. I thought he said he was shipping more than enough parts though already.
