Well wen i had my mirage tinted i went meduim in the back and light up front. they looked darker cuz of my all black interior though. The first time i got stopped the cop just straight up told me to keep in mind that it depends on the cop if ur gonna get a ticket ( his actual words were "the cop would have to be a real d*ck to give you a ticket" lol). After that my experience was u have to either do something stupid or at the very least give them any excuse to pull u over and then ur gonna get hit with all the tickets. For example, speeding equals speeding and tints tickets, illegal lane change= illegal lane change and tints. So depending on the cops attitudes in ur area and ur driving habits think about the tints. Also wat the fines r. In my county it was $125 a pop in the next adjacent county it $20.

I got pulled over by granville and clark in rogers park. I'm going to switch my plates to indiana as I can claim residency there. As for the fine, I believe its 250 but I'm going to show "proof" that I removed them in hopes of getting the fine dropped.

 

ok i have found the best solution to the tinting problem. i do live in the a suburb of chicago. some of you that live around here may know it. it is naperville some of the biggest dicks possible. well my solution was to go and get a job working with the police. it has worked for more then 2 years now. i know everyone cant be as fortunate but hey anything that you can do to work with them will do. i am a tow truck driver for Naperville. now they just wave to me as i pass by.

 

also if you go to the eye doctor you can get WT plates. they allow you to tint every window just tell your doctor that the sun and headlights at night bother you and it makes it very difficult to see the road. the doctor then will determine if you are approved to get the tint plates. and if you get the plates no one can touch you
