The stock clutch has finally given up... its slipping in every gear now .

plus i just got married and with the crappy economics these days i can only afford to spend around a thousand dollars.

I called up AMS and the cheapest solution they had was about ~1400 out the door for a exedy stage 1 (not the greatest clutch)

any help would be greatly appreciated from my fellow evo m members

 

just have a friend help you do it in the garage..

Yeah Cisco's rad, I went into strictly modified the other day and we chatted for about 20 minutes. Just my kinda place.

 

got my clutch put it at strictly just around 700 hundred great ppl great shop!

 

You can talk to mark over at 1 6 motorsports in arlington heights, he did my buddy's evo for 600 bucks. Badass install no problems whatsoever.

I heard good things about strictly as well.

Hit up Cisco at Strictly if you haven't already.. About 5 hour turn around time, which is great.. rather than it sitting at AMS for an entire day... not to mention the $$ you'd save.

 

theres are guy in my town that does the install for 300. act 6 puck is a good street clutch and weekend track clutch. if you are interested in the shop info let me know. he has built many 3000gt-stealth trans, 1g and 2g trans, and even evo trans.

 

You can always bring it to us we charge $350 for the install so with an ACT clutch it comes to around a $1000
