no front plate, 15K, no warnings/tickets (also 35% tint all around), but I drive 80% in the city, seems like most problems are in the suburbs where cops have less to do

I've gotten a warning for it. I was in Dekalb visiting a friend over the summer, there was more cops then people out. I used the bracket excuse. Ironically it took half of the Dekalb Police Department to issue the warning.

My brother actually got a ticket for no front plate while he was parked in his university parking lot. I had a good laugh when I saw the ticket was originally being written for a Mitsubishi but the cop stopped and wrote it for his car instead. He drives a cobra.

i drive mostly between skokie and schaumburg. see cops all the time especially at night. for the most part, they dont hassle me for no front plates. although i've been pulled over for other things and they'd give me an additional ticket for that.

but once this ******* of a cop was going the opposite direction, saw my car pass by, did a u-turn JUST to pull me over for no front plates... what a useless trivial maneuver. he needs to get a life.

Was driving in Lake County down a small side street and passed a cop facing the other way, he turned around a pulled me over for having no front plate. I was driving a Chevy Blazer with no bumper. When he asked me where my license plate was I told him it was at home with my bumper. Had to go to court for that puppy. Lake County cops are the worst. I guess having no front plate determines where you live and drive around most.
