Hi MN people

How many of you are from the twin cities area? How do you guys like your cars? What have you done to it so far? I'm kind of leaning towards getting an aftermarket BOV but don't want to do to much yet to void any of the warrenties. I am one of those that would start adding aftermaket parts to my car from day 1 but this time around I'm going to take it easy on this one.

There are about 6 or 8 of us that either read or lurk the forums here. When did you get your Evo?

I got it about 2 weeks ago. I've already put about 800 miles on the car. I haven't been driving it lately cause of all the rain. Where is everyone from?

Rain... is it the car or the driver that's afraid of a little rain?

Welcome to the board... I'm not an EVO owner but I have the rival to the EVO

I've met eroshi and of course my own brother DeJaVu. They both have black EVO's.

Again, welcome.

Vic

Thanks for all the welcomes. Bought mine from Maplewood, nice and yellow with all the options and upgrades.

Sounds nice - Mine came from Maplewood, too. My car has been in the shop for about a month now; problem with a 3/4 ton van - ouch! But I should have it back this week.

Erioshi, sorry to hear about your car. I hope you'll get it back soon.

My car doesn't seem that fast. Is it just me or is it that it's not fully broken in yet? I currently have 1200 miles on the OD now. I redline from 1st - 5th and it pulls hard b/w 3-5k rpm but after that it seems to bottom out. The black that I test drove over in Wayzata was hauling *** big time. Maybe it's just me getting use to it. When I floor it, it doesn't seem to be moving fast but when I look on the rear view mirror, the car next to me a sec ago is like 5 buses behind me I hope it gets better.

You probally are getting used to it a little, but get a boost controller to hold 19psi up to redline and maybe an exhaust and you will be much happier.

What's a good boost controler? The S-VAFC? Sorry I'm new to Turbo. This is my first Turboed car so help me out.
