you guys all know the drill. there was a HUGE meet that left from the napperville area last year im sure it will do that again.

someone set a time and place to meet up before everyone heads down there.

I used to live in Normal, im down to go! Where and where should we meet?

 

i will be heading down there from the palatine area

 

last year i missed the pre-mod meet, caught up with a few on 59 and 34. there wasn't much of a pack since some guys were driving 100+. hopefully this year we can actually keep together on the road.

 

I was at the pre-mod at fox valley mall last year and it was very unorganized. Everybody got split up at the first light approached. Then, people decided to drive 100+ plus like John stated. Taking a whole bunch of side routes just to get to the highway didn't help keep the pack together either. Anybody wanna meet in Schaumburg and cruise together in an organized fashion?

 

i would be good with that. i went to ISU and a buddy of mine is a county sheriff down there. driving though Livingston county at 100mph is a bad idea. the state troopers have realized that motorcycles are much cheaper than squad cars and for the past few years they have had one squad on the top of an overpass and 5 bikes on the on ramp going in either direction. when i get to odell it is 72mph all the way to B/N.

 

Yeah im down with meeting in Schaumburg. The group needs to stay together, thats the whole point of meeting.

I'll be there. As long as my Evo doesn't decided to fail on me an hour our from Normal again I'll be there.

I'll probably head out with a caravan/ convoy out of the Chicago area, as I always do.
