Looking for someone in chicago area that does anodizing? I'd like to get my intecooler done in black. Please lmk price if possible

 

you might want to look into getting it anodized vs powdered unless you are doing just the piping. you dont want a coating preventing the ic from cooling charged air.

Just be careful that you have someone who knows what they're doing when anodizing an intercooler because there is a different mixture needed in the tank when doing porous items like fmic and radiators vs. solid aluminum items. Temperature variance is far too great to use the same formula, you need a specific dye to do the job properly.

I learned this lesson personally when I tried to have my fmic anodized black and when I got it back it had a finish similar to "burnt titanium". Very cool end result, but definitely not the black I was after...
