Anyone recognize this WI/IL '08 X?
Hi everyone. I have been a lurker for a little while. Trying to educate myself before purchasing an Evo X. I came across this car at a local dealership and am trying to find out its story.
It APPEARS it was tracked. I'm not necessarily afraid of buying a modded/tracked car but I need to know if the owner took good care of it and did all proper maintenance. I've noticed many people trade cars like this in when they have problems and they don't want to deal with it anymore. The dealership is asking $26,900 which is absurd giving the year and it being obviously modified.
Anyone know the owner or know anything about the car? I appreciate any insight.

Not that anyone cares but I told this dealership to basically take a stick and do inappropriate things with it to themselves.
After I was told I could take the car to a Mitsu dealership to have it looked at, I proceeded to do so the next day and they had a whole bunch of "Well if" type things to say. To make matters worse, the salesman tells me they are firm on the $26,900. "My sales manager isn't gonna move on that price with all those modifications on it."
LOL! I told them that when they still have the car in 3 mos b/c no one with half a brain is gonna pay $27k for a highly modded 5 yr old car that was obviously tracked, to call me.
I made an appointment at another place to test drive an Octane Blue 08 X 5 mins later.
I'll be doing THAT on Friday.

That's a nice deal. At the moment I'm trying to find one with less than 40k miles. You have a For Sale ad? I'll bookmark it.
