Get your asses out to Woodward! Any weekend during the day is crazy, but the nights are just insane. Tons of cars - F-bodies, Vettes, STIs, WRXs, Supras, and of course the classics (and exotics!). I raced at least 5 F-Bodies, a bunch of WRX/STIs, SRT-4s, you name it - it was out there. I freake dout when I pulled up on a Diablo, but he wasn't having it - he was "only cruising".

Anyways - Get out there! I bumped into Flames-666 (lookin good) but that was the ONLY other Evo I saw.

Keep an eye on this thread for meeting times and locations!!!

 

Sounds like there'd be tons of cops around that.

What area of Woodward?

Honestly, there IS a police presesnce, but they are pretty damn cool. They know what Woodward is about, they know it brings a lot of people to the area (as well as money) and they don't want to scare too many people away. I've heard countless stories about people being pulled over midrace and let off with warnings to "keep it safe".

The prime location is between 696 & 75... More specifically 12Mile - Square Lake Rd.

Come on out, if you're worried about cops, dont speed.

Maaaaan, I was huntin those Cobras.

I saw a Diablo but couldn't get him to run... Never caught up with the Modenas out there either. There were a few good races - couple SSs, Shelby Cobra (possibly a kit, ya' never know), and a few other cars.

Everyday it gets busier and busier...but seriously good meetin up with both you guys, its always fun to check out the goodies on everyone elses rides.

I have not been able to make it over to Woodward yet...trying to get the '67 Camaro ready for Saturday. I have to get over there soon.

MattGold - Was that you on 696 west this morning? Nice black Evo with tint and a loud a$$ exhaust. I had to baby mine for a week now. I had the BR TB and Walboro put on last week and I am running pig rich until Friday when I get my DynoFLash from Al down at BR.

 

Actually - Im on 696 EAST between 8:30-9am, I did't see any other Evos today, and usually don't.

My exhaust isn't too loud IMHO, so maybe there's a few more huntin around that we dont even know about.

But come on down to Woodward to be sure!
