Honestly, I don't care if I'm competitive...at least at this point. I'm just looking to see if I qualify to race in BSP. Frankly, I'm just happy I don't have cams as they would bump me up to street modified, where I'd be even more uncompetitive.

My suspension tweak is going to be a stage 1 set-up from Mr. Mueller ($500 for an alignment, RSB and some stiffer (non-metal) bushings). That is where I am going to start out, and we'll see how things go. I don't need to be uber competitive right off, I'm just looking to have some fun and am happy to read that basically my car is all set-up for BSP (no having to take a whole bunch of stuff off my car).

There is a SCCA autocross school out here in March (phase 1 & 2). That's where the wife and I are going to start.

size and configuration. Air-to-air CACs and radiators for airto-
liquid CACs must be cooled only by the atmosphere, except
for standard parts. Body panels, fascias, or structural
members may not be cut or altered to facilitate CAC installation.
the piping to and from the intercooler is not considered a "charge air cooler" but part of the intercooler itself. Furthermore,

that includes the IC pipes as well. As long as the part is considered by to be part of the intercooler system, then your free to mod it. The final answer is in the factory service manual.

My understanding is that the undertray can't be removed or altered in SP. That is one of the main reasons that Buschur came out with the std. fmic. It is designed to work without removing or altering the undertray...one of the few bigger aftermarket fmic's that fit under it.
At the local level I'm sure nobody will care if you've removed/altered the undertray or done other small things that are otherwise not legal. In my region it's not uncommon to see not so obvious illegal mods.. that are never protested. At the national level you MAY get protested if you finish in the trophies.
