I've had the KW's for a couple of years now, love them, and recommend Robi for setup.

ok everyone, i am looking to do some aero work on my car and i need some advice.

1. what lip/splitter (not going to get the apr one, dont ask)
2. what front bumper (looking at the voltex but it is very pricey new)
3. what rear wing ( i will have custom bases made but need to get an air foil to mount on them)

i want these to help with autox, but also because i think my car looks butt ugly right now and i want to change it up

thanks for the help

Aero parts are about the worst bang for the buck in terms of autox performance. If you don't believe me, look at all the Aero parts on the national winning SM EVO...

I have a set of Volk racing CE28N Time attack rims in 18x9.5 +34 that I recently picked up for this upcoming season, but have had a change of plans, so they are now up for sale.

These are the lightest 18x9.5 rim that I could find. 17lbs each.

Does mine qualify? It took 4-5 hours to do the rolling, which was quite heavy, and not damage the paint.

Yeah, but they don't call him The Alien for nothing...

Although you spend very little time at speeds where aero actually does anything. Look at the A-mods. That's the kind of aero you need at autocross speeds.

Although I agree with the "bang for the buck" statement, aero does have its place. Look at the 2nd and 3rd place SM cars at Nats, and the #1 XP car. All would have been less effective without the aerodynamic advantage.

If $$ is no concern, I say go for it. If you are on a budget, max out all other areas before venturing down the aero path. . .

Good deal. I'm sure someone will pick them up at that price.

Your "change of plans" - does that include a different car, different class, or just a different path with your current car?

On a different topic, I saw an ad a while back for a new part that was coming out that would allow more caster on the EVO. If I remember correctly it was some sort of offset bushing or ball joint. Does anyone know what I'm talking about??

Perrin was working on it (front LCA rear bushing-thingy), but I haven't heard anything in a while.

Right now I plan on doing mainly the time attack stuff for AMS this year. I don't have enough time to do it all, so I plan on taking a brake this year from autocross. That said, I may still show at Nationals and a tour, but I am not going to be putting a bunch more development and money into my car this year. I thought about selling the car, but I don't think anyone would pay $35,000 for it, and I wouldn't sell it for any less anyways.
