Lewis Hamilton is the $hit (Formula 1)
Yup, makes sense...that's kinda what I was getting at Kevin
Looking forward to Bahrain!

ethan, i think it had more to do with the downforce the ferraris had vs the mclarens. it was obvious by the straight line speed the ferraris were running less angle of attack then the mclarens. the mclarens as a result were able to take the corners with a bit higher entry speed (as noted by massa attempted the same speed and flying off the track). it was a trade off for that track which could have worked had massa tried passing on the INSIDE of turn one the one time he was side by side at the end of the front straight. that was the only attempt that had potential had he pass on hamiltons right. the other two times hamilton knew massa was coming in way to hot and just let him fly by.
Yes this guy is impresive, so is Kubica. So far the McLaren and Ferrari are voted the best teams in the F1, BMW is still developing their cars. I think once BMWs are a little bit more established we might see preaty good racing between Hamilton and Kubica like it was in F3000. They were fighting neck in neck to the last race. It looks promising.
I agree that Button isn't that good.
Mclaren and Ferrari both have the total package though. So Honda can't keep up with it.
Complete package - driver, chassis, engine, team, etc..

But to have a proper F1 race every weekend would be ridiculous...I mean, think about it, it's not as if they are a bunch of hillbillies going red state to red state in spec racer carbureted pieces of $hit to go around in circles all day...this is real racing that travels around the globe...they can only pull it off once in a while...

Lewis is very impressive, but still lacks the experience and consistency, which is why he's finishing behind Alonso. I've always thought Massa was overrated, so no real surprise at what happened. If Kimi has his car at 100%, then I don't think anyone will beat him at this point in the season. Been really bummed out about Kubica's car troubles. I think he could place on the podium if his ride holds together.
With McLaren and Ferrari duking it out, and a couple of new, exciting drivers, it's looking like a great season. Can't wait to see 'em in Indy.

Lewis lacks conssitency? That's why he has been on the podium every race and is now tied for the driver's championship lead....oh and after bahrain who finished in front of who?
And also I guess Massa answered your comment about being over rated in his bahrain performance too.
I see where you are coming from but don't agree. Mr. inexperience is tied with the 2 best drivers in the sport and has all these seasoned vets staring at his rear diff. He is a true talent.
