Yeah I was super busy for the last few weeks. My wife was out of town for 9 days and I worked on parts like crazy getting ready for a track day. I had a bunch of nights into 3AM doing stuff.

And I have to paint a fence and install a sprinkler system! And pull my motor and do the 2.3L GT3076 build. I'm a little scared of how fast it will be at the track then. I may start at low boost

Great minds think alike. That will be my choice for track power too. I'm getting a bit tired of struggling for 350... I'd like to make 400 without pushing it like I am now... lol I can't keep up w/ all the breaking stuff.

No problem. Hopefully the group buy fills up and we can get these parts out there.

Now that these are for sale, have you done any high speed testing of drag or downforce? Have you noticed significantly higher trap speeds at the drag strip? Higher speeds at the end of straights on a road course? Higher lateral G's through corners?

Have you shown that this does not creat lift at high speeds? Doesn't make the car feel light and twitchy? Don't want to see any EVOs take flight like occasional LMP car does. . .

I tried to go out this weekend and establish some good data on drag, but my car sprung a massive fuel leak and ended up staying in the garage laying in a pool of it's own blood (94 octant blood). Downforce is proving a little harder to measure as I need to really have some speed, 100+ to get things going. I'm re-thinking my test set-up and may hookup some strain gauges as opposed to the string pots. The string pots are mounted on my stock suspension and it's annoying to have to switch back and forward - not to mention the ride height on the stock suspension is too high.

I was getting a lot of "want pricing" requests, so the group buy is a put your money where your mouth is sort of a deal. I know I'm still light on data but that didn't seem to bother some people. But the group buy thread is pretty dead...If it doesn't happen it's no big deal for me I'll just continue to develop the parts for myself.

As I gather data I don't see the basic design elements of the undertray changing. Perhaps I'll add some hanging skirts to the side or some directional veining, but those are add-ons. What I've got so far is basically a foundation.

Just wondering what the weight impact is of all these extra brackets, bolts & panels?
Is the weight penalty still less than the advantage of the lift reductions + extra weight?

It weights only 10-14 lbs, not too heavy.

Great looking product. I am patiently waiting for my seat brackets so I was reading your threads. I know I saw you did some FEA analysis on the seat brackets with Cosmo's do you have access to flow works? I understand the challenges with getting the aero modeling just so, but you could start with some assumpstions and see what type of pressure drops you are getting or just use it to get a better idea of the flow paths? Just an idea.

If nothing else, use the screen captures as marketing photo's!

I don't have flow works, just the lame version that is embedded in Solidworks 2008.

Brackets will probably be there on Monday.

Talking about brackets....

Has anyone, or does anyone know of... someone who removed the beams that the seat sits on, to make it even lower yet?
