yeah all the ones that i did with him are sat but they only do 4 a year its fine cause most of the DE events i was looking at with him are sat + sunday. im sure if i wanted i can do 1 sunday a month we will see when the time comes.
ha ha nah he is not he is the buddy i was talking about that is an instructor and races in the Porsche club. I am not to worried about making events i think i can probably do 12+ which is decent imo.
it will be hard to not do a bunch of mods well i wait though i have been looking at wheels tires sways all of it lol o well.

You should be thinking about modding, and in this order.
Tires
Suspension
Wheels
Beyond that, your harness and seat concerns are justifiable. Got an air tank? Got a GOOD tire pressure gauge, jack, stands, sprayer, even a electric drill or impact gun if you need to change wheels and tires? Got a mount for your cam? If that's not anough to keep you occupied for awhile, you need to read some books and/or another hobby and/or some help.

i have looked at a lot of warrtalons stuff it is really nice. i never payed a lot of attention as i had never done anything but drag.
what do you guys suggest for coilovers? i was looking at the megan track series and BC but dont know a ton about spring rate or what im looking for in a mid - good setup. (other then price and what the big boys run)

Go with single or double adj Ohlins, Bilsteins, Konis, KWs, ASTs, etc.
That's why I mentioned to go mid priced coil-overs, if you go low-end you will most likely have to buy again and need to reset up the car, plus they will probably ride poorly and have limited droop.

Take a look at stance, theres been allot of grassroots type guys doing really well on their stuff, and its not any more expensive than megan.
honestly i would like to spend no more then 1300ish to start since i plan to probably upgrade more later on when i learn to drive ha. the megan track series seem ok but im still looking around.
i should have the new seat brackets this week which will be nice!
