I'm really hoping the AD track gets some revisions before next year. Talk about a boring race.
Other than the Weber/Button action at the end, it was a complete snooze-fest.

Yeah it was but Its more so the rules that make it this way.

Imagine the old DTM, J, Rolex, and especially Le Mans racing on that circuit! That would be terrific. It's a very wide track with alot of overtaking areas, good turns, chicanes, long long straight, some doubles and the environment is wicked.

The only thing I would complain about regarding the AD track is the women they had lining the hall to the weigh in room.... they all had FUPAs!?!

I held you bas.... off till the end... ahh victory is sweet!

No more Toyota! I guess we all saw that one coming... look at the billions they've spent on their F1 program to never win a single race.

Renualt may be next, although the team claims they have a budget in place for next season. We'll have to see what happens.

I'm hoping Sauber makes it way back on the grid. It would be a shame for them not too.

Well back to making sushi for kobay I would have liked to see how he would have done in 2010 and yes f1 is on a down swing but I'll still watch their still some of the baddest pieces of engineering on the planet even if the racing isn't so entertaining.

F1- No refueling in pits...

I also hear that they are going to run no tires next year just wheels but not round wheels, square wheels made of wood.

Jensen signs with McLaren for 3yrs!?!

This really sucks as Kimi is left with no race seat. Maybe I'll get to watch him in the WRC then? This blows....

^ If Kimi wasn't such a greedy ba$$$tard, he'd have gotten a good seat without any problems. IMO it just goes to show that, contrary to his press releases, he's not motivated to win, he's just motivated to get paid.

Looks like I was wrong, Button does want to mix it up with Hamilton..(or rather get paid).
No Kimi that's lame, in the top runners back in 2005 he always seemed to handle the initial big fuel load best.

In 05' the McLaren was bad fast with a big fuel load. He should have won the WC that year... too many stupid things happened as they always do to Kimi.

Wow, Button goes to McLaren. I guess the only challenge left after winning the driver's title is to beat the previous title-holder while running the same car. Ballzy move if ever I saw one...

Although I think if RB can stay reliable and keep Vettel out of trouble, he will pwn all next year.

why would he go to a back of the grid team, drive a slow car for 5mil, accomplish absolutely nothing, and loose $20mil or so that Ferrari is paying him ? He can cash in, and go Rallying. If you don't have top car in F1, you are not winning the title, its that simple.

You're missing my point. I'm sure McLaren would have signed Kimi if he had asked for less money, which would have given him at least on paper a winning car. Clearly with Kimi $$$ > winning championship. He's still got a shot at getting a ride with Mercedes, but I can't see how they'll pay him anywhere near what he wants. So again, it'll come down to the same question, "Does he want the money, or does he want a shot at a title?" Ferrari will still pay him half his salary next year no matter what, so it's not like he'll be hurtin' for cash.

Bringing back an old thread due to a discussion that I remembered from a long time ago.

My Speed low def is ultra compressed, so it looks horrible on anything bigger than a 27" TV. Have I ever mentioned how much I hate Comcrap?

Most notably the edges of objects and small details such as logos or small track side objects don't "pop out" like they do on a full HD broadcast.

Even the motion isn't as uniform as native HD programming. During the next race just switch to a good HD broadcast like HD Theater and the difference is astonishing.

I have Verizon FiOS which was a big step up from my cable in terms of picture quality and clarity. There is virtually no compression when compared to my old cable which many people complained about once they started adding more channels.

Also just because your box says it is displaying 720p or 1080i doesn't mean that the programming was recorded in that resolution.

It is like if you watch evening news in HD. The studio portions will be in crystal clear HD but a lot of the field cameras are still low def. When they switch to reports, your TV is still displaying in 720p or 1080i (which ever you choose) but the image was recorded in 480.
