And Jarno deserved that poll man. The SC's antics in that race were confusing.
Nope. I watched the race twice. Hami passed PK fairly. PK spun on his own later in the race after the safetycar ducked back in the pits. Now if PK spun twice in that race, I must have missed the first one.

Your right Hami passed PK fair. My mistake. When did hami change to the super softs? Was it at the end or the start or did he start with them?

Not a fan of LH but he certaintly moved through the positions.

I think he started on them because I didn't see them on his second two stints. I didn't ever realize he actually started in 20th. That is some moving!! Even without the Crashes he makes up 12 spots or more. Trulli and Glock did some moving up too.

I'll bet money 90-100% of the field is on supersofts first stint of next race. It make no sense whatsoever not to use them first or at the latest second and risk losing positions because of them at the end of the race.

Those tires are crap and need to be shoved.

FIA tied Bridgestone's hands. Bridgestone gives the teams the best tire (in this case, the medium) and then they have to go two steps away, which is the super soft.

We'll probably see them bring the hard and soft compounds for Malaysia; soft will dominate and the hard will stink it up.

The tire rules have really gotten to be silly... bring back Michelin and let's have a tire war again, at least that way we had good tires (US GP '06 aside ).

Agree. Hami started 18th though. The Toyotas started 19th and 20th from the pits.

I am not a fan of two step away tire rule. There is enough strategy with out having to worry about that. I am ok with there only being one manufacture but for god shakes don't bring a good tire then a horrible one.

Hamilton and MM have been DQ'd and stripped of all points from the Melborne GP. As of today Jarno is handed back 3rd by FIA. Race stewards investigated MM's radio transmissions involving the incident and deemed Hamilton and MM to violate a number of unsportsmen like rules. FIA states the Hamilton and MM brought decetiful evidence for the original appeal to claim 3rd.

MM issued a bs statement stating that they would not appeal the ruling and then they went into the whole Ferrari specs just fell into our lap thing. Scum bags.

Gotta love the FIA...
Just another reason for them to have full-time stewards attending every race. Personally I'm not a Hami/MM fan so this ruling doesn't bother me, esp if they indeed were trying to pull one over on the FIA. Good for Trulli. Toyota needs some good results, we don't need another manufacturer pulling out of the sport.

I told you all that the whole situation seemed fishy to begin with. I'm upset that MM lost the 6 points and such a remarkable drive by Lewis done in vein, but at least Trulli got back the position he deserved. Oh well, on to the next race.

We need a 3rd steward investigation to investigate the 2nd stewards' bias!

9 inneedof 0
9 C-mode 0

LMFAO!!! Anything can happen next race. A huge lead today could mean jack sh$t next week. Although short lived, MitsuMcLarenF1 was also ranked # 3,5xx in the world. I'd say that was pretty d@mn admirable.
