This years setup. One on rear quarter panel to see how close I am on pass side, and one on the roof to get overall view. Both are suction cup mounts using a Contour GPS on the top and an older Contour on the side. Sometimes we move the side camera to inside so we can see our hands and head or to other spots on the car.

Nice, very functional for sure. I'm sure the guys in ChumpCar World Series would fab something up that good. Not quite my speed, so I'm going to throw a little money at it.

I picked up this dudes harness bar:



Now, I'm fully aware that it's not safe to run a harness unless your car is fully caged so I won't. I'm very content using my three point belt.

Are there any safety concerns using a harness bar as a camera bar?
